Yup, MHC hit the nail on the head as I remembered that he and TWK blew away a big lead(about 7 points) against Chai Biao/Zhang Nan in the Japan Open and lost the first game 19-21. Another pair who can easily lose focus is KKK/TBH.

Not new, jimbo. I think already more than a year, but probably first time media notice Leeny. MHC's birthday coming soon, hope he can play well in Copenhagen Masters this time... wish him all the best!

time will tell whether he can cope with the extra pressure or not.

if he can, good for him.

if he can't, he has to make up his mind fast,

there are many below climbing that ladder

and mas do have several pairs of potential world beaters

    unlike ms.

I wonder what the par is. Is it the ability to compete with other countries' second MD? The three pairs are pretty much around the same level but the selectors should really take mental strength and consistency ahead of skills in my opinion. That's why, although Mak & Tan are my favourite pair, I wasn't very sure whether they should be fielded as 2nd MD in the Asian Games and several others (limsy & eaglehelang) also had their doubts. And yes, none of the 2nd pairs at the moment can compete with other 2nd MD. The only plus is that time is on their side. Fuzzy used to be good but now they have fallen even further behind.

MHC-TWK have a great chance to redeem themselves at Copenhagen Masters. At least if they don't win, put up a decent performance against INA & DEN pair which are of a different league.

I'm very disappointed in this pair. They were so promising, but what happened? What went wrong? Was it the Asian Games nightmare?

to be fair to them, chances are given to Fuzzy, OSH/HTH before
so MHC/TWK should be given chances to prove themself....either glory or embarrassment...

sure, they have to be given the chance even with the recent loss. :)

just make sure during training, their minds are there for it

otherwise tkh wouldn't be able to help them during a tournament:D

maybe this will give you an idea,

a good pair of doubles usually have one playmaker and one scary one:D

    mk/hs, cy/fhf, kkk/tbh .....

They should have the answer themselves.. Perhaps still in Xmas and already in new year mood? They got thrashed quite badly by boe/morgensen this time though:(.. not a good sign at all.

that's what I meant... a playmaker (CY, HS, KKK, LYD) and a big smasher (FHF, MK, TBH, JJS)... but this pair doesn't seem to have the right combination... not sure why... they still BOLEH?

Against Denmark B/M, they certainly were out of form in all department. Points gain from the net play and offensive were double lower than what the Denmark double obtained. Shots placement selection also were bad, very predictable and lack of confidence until it seems boe was toying with them in the front court. MHC/TWK were just not allowed by B/M to find their own rythm until to the end thus making them totally outclassed and outmanoevered. Coach Tan KR needs to train them harder to coupe such scenario because from the physcological view, Denmark B/M were just super confidence from the start to eat them.

This is a serious question to be considered. They have not been producing results since their good run in the Japan Open, and the Asian Games were very demoralising and they went further downhill. They might not get out of this bad patch for some time.

Yes. They need to chance. Give to them like what KKK/TBH gets.

Ignoring whether you are sarcastic or not, I think we should keep them at the bottom of the list RIGHT NOW (Higher than Zakry/HTH though). Something has to be done to stop the rot. Meanwhile, expose others.

    Maybe TKH is over-rated.
