Where can I find the rubber band grip fasterner for the badminton grips? just dont like to use the sticky tape that comes with all the grips. They tend to peel off on its own.

I use my own Badminton Grip Finishing Tape. It's pretty much the same as the one that comes on the stock original grips. I bought them from MBS.

Depends a bit on the used grip and if it's tournament play or training....I guess it's somewhat like this:
    Overgrip:
    1 day in tournament play
1,5-2,5 weeks in training (so, roughly 15-25 hours)
Yonex overgrap is the best here and RKEP soft grip the worst. The overgrap has the best surface, but gets shredded when I have to defend a lot, and the RKEP soft grip gets very slippery with a bit of sweat.

    Towel grip:
Tournament play: 1-2 days (depending on the temperature in the hall and what discipline I play - in singles, it doesn't survive the day normally)
Training: anything between 1,5 and 10 weeks. Depends a lot on the temperature. In summer, usually around 2-2,5 weeks.

A hint: if you use overgrip, order 3 of the grip ending tapes at MBS. It's the same as the one used to secure the factory grip and doesn't peel off like the shitty end tape that comes with overgrips. It'll last quite a while if you don't go bananas and wrap it all the way to the head :D

I'm currently using Gosen Cushion grip on both my Sideks and Arc ZSTH. They really are comfortable but I'm not sure how long will they last as they're brand new. Before this, I've been using towel grip and they never last that long. TSL branded towel grip lasted only a week and when it dries, it gets harden. So far, Wilson towel grip on my Yonex B-460 has lasted for 3 years or more already but the racquet itself is rarely used.

There's your answer.....you play much less than most of us and with only 3hrs weekly, it's probably a lower level of performance with less stress on the grip. Oviously I can't know how much you sweat, but generally athletes tend to sweat more than people enjoying a leisurely game.
Anyway, with my 10-14hrs a week my towel grips last about 1-2 weeks depending on temperature.

just because i dont play for extended periods doesnt mean i have lower performance, thanks very much!! (back in the day - uni singles 1st team, so club/league level) just that i am of certain age and have other responsibilities that take precedent, so dont have that much leisure time. my hands sweat, i wipe them off on my shirt every point, but my sweat doesnt disintegrate the grip!

Didn't mean to offend or insult you. What I was trying to say is that with one session a week you probably enjoy what time you can get on court rather than do all-out training. So you'll probably sweat a bit less than those who train hard...not that that's a bad thing. If I had only one or two sessions a week and already played the game for longer than 3 years, I'd probably rather have some fun matches than do a few hours of training.

Also, people sweat differently. Some guys can use their towel grip for months, while others play two matches and it's on the verge of dripping with sweat. So maybe you're just on the lucky side ;)

For HYGIENE reason, I change my grip, every month ... by then, even my white Karakal becomes grey ... I opt for white/light (yellow.orange) colour, so I can monitor.

Compared to everyone else I know I eat through grips. I get through about one-two karakal super P.U. grips a month playing about 8 hours a week. Even the top player at my club makes his last about 3 months. Various coaches have said I grip the rackets too tight, too loose or incorrectly. But when I show them my grip they can't see anything immediately wrong.

Reading through this thread has given me some assurance that I am not abnormal though :p Maybe I have sandpaper skin!
