The chart above is interesting. There's no AT700 on the chart. Does that mean that they're fading out the AT series and now the VT70 is taking over the place of the AT700?

Yes the Voltric series should replace the Armortec. AT700 is discontinued indeed (as mentioned here and there a few times) and VT80 might be the one to take that empty spot ... http://i56.tinypic.com/2v9oqd0.jpg

Do you think you'll know where the top Voltrics will lie? (judging from the other naming pattern, either the VT100, VT99 or VT-Z)

Just saw this on the website for VT80 and found it funny (go under functions&details then scroll right 2 X):
The sound filter is positioned at 10 and 2 o clock to reduce high pitched sound and dull waves. In turn this produces a louder and sharper sound to unsettle opponents ...
What a crazy technology this is. I'll scare my opponent to death with this racquet. It shouldn't be called filter but sound amplifier.

Yes, sound be named as sound amplifier. :)

Btw, the attack on the emotional of the opponent is a part of strategic too.
I had an experience met an opponent(s), whom everytime hit the shutter hard (either smash / long shot & I don't think he noticing it) the sound produce is quite loud; especially in isolated area and I always has been caught surpised with a scare in the heart of the his racquet 'scream'. Indirectly, I always get confuse of his smash & long shot then not able to give a good return.

At least the racquet 'scream' will scared me off... so, do you want to use the racquet to do play with me?

YY rackets are warrented to 25ish, there are none that are warrented to 30 as of yet. If you are looking for rackets distributed for use by pros, then you need to speak to a pro and buy one of them, or see if you can find a CP racket on the Internet, probably from HK.

The 2U ArcSaber DX's were already up to 28lbs. ;)

There are no Yonex models "meant for tension 30 and above". Even the mentioned CP models have regular recommendation on it not to mention closer to RM1000 than 500 ;)

I know, thats why I said "ish" there are some that are only warrented to 22lbs.

Yep, finally they are catching up, Victor are warrenting 28x30lbs, and Apacs are 30lbs on most rackets, I can't remember for Li Ning.

Like you said, none that have a higher lbs recommendation. Just some believe that they are stronger, but they are double the price so I would rather buy 2 rackets than 1.

for CP/CN, JP codes, you can try www.luxissportsnet.com

There are other stores that stock JP codes, but they are quite easily found.

There seem to be a new racket coming out around september. A friend of mine already pre-ordered it already over in jp but wouldn't tell me the details yet as it's gonna be a gift. Anyone has any news about it?
