    Ladies Ts and JP stuff

Last picture is a small bag for keeping your wet, sweaty clothes. Big enough for one folded t-shirt, shorts, briefs and socks. Can be unzipped and separated into two bags. Imported from Japan and comes in two colours. I bought two.. one of each colour..

Putting my wet clothes in a NTUC plastic bag will be a thing of the past :D

She is a Filipina :) (wearing glasses).

There are 3 of them, all from the Philippines who rotates.. a guy who is also the stringer and two ladies man the shop usually alone. Seldom there is more than one staff at the shop.

The lady with the glasses is always on duty there. During her off days, the guy and the other lady will rotate and cover her duties.

The other lady is stationed more at Mustafa's Yonex retail outlet.

SHB200 is too pricey there even with discounts which they do offer. Shoes which are on promotion/sale is more competitively priced and worth buying. You will get a much better price buying SHB200 elsewhere.

It's more of a show house.

I go there for their clothing/slippers/socks which are on offer and help myself to some of their free catalogs. :D

The racquets are SRP (suggested retail price) hence no discount.
High end badminton shoes are very ex, but the low end ones are cheap. (SGD 29). The tennis shoes are normal priced and quite worth it imho.

    Yes they are :(

This retail shop serves as a showroom for Yonex and is mainly catered for tourists. It also explains why its location is right smack in the Orchard shopping belt.

Prices are not targeted at locals as there are plenty of shops elsewhere in Singapore that you can purchase Yonex racquets/products at a much lower price.

Some of the older shoes models are on promotion and worth buying.

the promo price for the at900 is still rather expensive.
i wonder how the shop stays in business when the only things people buy are the low end stuff.

The tourists do.. and some of them do buy alot. I was there on several occasions and witness it. The amount they purchase it seems like where they came from is really lacking in Yonex stuff lol.

The reason they patronize here is they are unfamiliar where are the best places to shop for badminton stuff in Singapore. Even if they do I think they may not want to travel to the suburbs to do that with the time constraints they have. Besides by purchasing from Sunrise they are assured of genuine Yonex products.. what with all the fakes floating in the market now.
