Smash drop and clear is not a problem.
What matters is drive and net plays and returning smashes in doubles.
The small sweet spot Increased the failure rate of these skills.

Just to add on top of that. None of the pros currently on tour is using it either. The racket is not that good.

ArcSaber Z Slash was overhype and turn out to be a flop. i surprise there are still people actually using this racket.

I agree completely. Arc Z is one of the worst Yonex rackets ever.

Tago is using it, Yamada who beat Taufik at the swiss is using it, Gabrielle White & Chris Adcock are using it, one of the Taiwanese ladies (5th seed in ladies doubles at AE). At junior level it's used a bit more which is somewhat suprising since they were practically born with isometrics :D.

Seriously, would you rather play with the B-500 or the Z-Slash? So I don't think the Z-slash could be the worst.

Honestly though, I think the Arc100 could quite possibly be the biggest gimmick ever.

    Paintjobbed Arc 7 :/ ... Pretty depressing
Cosmetics are better looking than the actual 7 though.

While that is true on the paint job... I think the ARC7 is still a better racket than the Z, as I sold my Z two days after I got it... While my ARC7 is still sitting in my closet with the ARC100 beside it....

I think oppositely, although, my order of use was different. That's probably why. I started with the Z-Slash, then tried the 7 & I didn't like the 7. Cripes, the Z-Slash must be impairing my playing with standard ISOs! I couldn't make very effective shots with the 7!

Have you tried any of the other ISO rackets though? Maybe just the 7 doesn't suit you....

The 7 has a medium flex, and the Z, stiff. Can't lose with Amortec 900 P or T. Both have the stiff flex.

Due to the long shaft of z, it feels about same or even more flexier than arc-7..
