Enter Nanopreme material @ VT80 , slimmest Yonex shaft ever ... we'll just have to find out Volctric is supposed to combine absolut power with faster racket speed through the tri-voltage system, well at least according to the VT70 pdf .
I think it will be great to have head heavy racket with slim frame With AT700 you need extra effort to cut the air because of box shape frame
Sorry didn't read all the way. ...but did the thread mentioned VT80's stiffness rating? Compared to VT70? Maybe compared to AT700 or NS9900? Thanks.
Also wondering the same thing..... Why is everyone comparing it with at900 and at700 instead of the vt70?
Go to the Yonex Japan website, it's up already with the usual balance and stiffness bar . Maybe cause it has taken the exact spot of AT700 on the Yonex chart?
Yup, my bad, it was supposed to be "WITHOUT compromising..." And since the admin of at700.com made the inevitable comparison between NANOPREME and Mizuno's Tetra-Axial material, describing it as the having the Tetra-Axial material being fully integrated into the shaft composition and thereby making the implication that it's superior to the T-A material application on the TC line of rackets, I'm also very curious if it'll live up to that hype.
On the Facebook site of Yonex Germany they show some pictures of new Voltric 7, Voltric 5 and some other new painted rackets which will be sold at german open first time. They are already for sale in many parts of the world . Also there are threads for each model as well, with actual pictures, except for ARC7 new colour ... I think ArcSaber 5DX has been on sale in England for months already even. ...like an electricity generator? ...or an energy force field? anyways, I skipped the VT70 and it seems I'm gonna skip the VT80 so down waiting for VT90 and probably a VT100 (I am kind of getting ahead of myself? Hahaha
You won't be disappointed I recently started playing with my 4U VT70 TH strung with ZM62 at 28lbs with constant pull tension and noticed that it is similar in swing weight plus that head heavy follow-through feel and shaft flexibility as my 3U AT700 IP (1st gen) strung with BG65P at 31lbs constant pull tension The VT70 does swing significantly faster although not as ultimately powerful as the AT700 but I am now a lot more interested in the VT80 with an advertised more elastic but stiffer and thinner shaft. Perhaps the AT700 will be dethroned as the most ultimately powerful head heavy Yonex racquet, something which AT900P almost achieved but just could not.
Yes if not a new model at least the souvenir t-shirts should be something http://www.yonex.co.jp/yoj30th/index.html ****************************************************** 1 more day(?)
is it just me or do you guys also think the Yonex VT80 and the Victor X80 kinda resemble each other in color scheme? both are white/black racket with red accents.
