. TH is the one teaching LCW bad habits. This, I can tell you. I am also quite sure that LCW, being a good friend of TH, would not tell us about TH's bad smoking habit. .
Yeah, TH needed the win otherwise he would end the year without a title and that would be a rarity.Congratulations, TH.
It was reported that Th will delay his retirement and that he will play in lower-rung tournaments after the 2012 OG.
London Calling for Taufik — But Then? Sandy Pramuji | January 12, 2012 http://www.thejakartaglobe.com/badminton/badminton-london-calling-for-taufik-but-then/490910 Excerpts: The former men’s singles world No. 1 confirmed that the London Games will be his last Olympics, though he’s still undecided on whether he will continue playing in other tournaments. “Yes, this year’s Olympic will be my last. That’s why I’ve been working very hard to qualify for London,” Taufik told the Jakarta Globe after a 21-11, 21-14 defeat of No. 8 seed Nguyen Thien Minh of Vietnam in the second round at Putra Stadium in Kuala Lumpur. “I want to entirely retire from badminton after the London Games, but I don’t know. There are lots of things that I have to consider before making the decision,” the 30-year-old shuttler added. He said he was still considering playing in smaller tournaments after the Games.
Haha lovely from Taufik in that video. At the moment I'm pretty pleased with Taufik from the Malaysia Open, since he played really well in the first two rounds and let's not forget that his second opponent was Tien Minh Nguyen. He beat him quite easily which is nice to see, it was kind of bad luck that he had to play LCW in the Quarterfinals already. I just hope he can keep up the form from his 1st and 2nd Round match.
Taufik earns my respect, he went through quarterfinal last week, and reach semifinal at swiss open. Hopefully he can earn the title, as it'll boost his confidence at the olympic 2012
Well Taufik Hidayat has earned my respect But it is good to see Taufik has reached a high stage then before because in some tournaments he would have been knocked out already, and it is good to see that he fitness is better I hope he does really in the Olympics
Yeah it's really awesome to see that he plays this well again. It's also nice that he plays nicely against the physically fit players and keeps his standards high for quite a long time.
It's great that Taufik is finding back again his old rhythm . It's great that Taufik is finding back again his old rhythm, that many of us thought that he has lost. Like last week at the 2012 All England Round 2, I would expect Taufik to defeat Chen Jin again, at this week's Swiss Open Semi-Finals. .
To win the Swiss Open GPG title, he needs to beat Chen Jin and most probably Chen Long. It will be a long shot...considering he got thrashed by Chen Long just last month in 2 easy sets.
One can always hope. Considering he will probably retire after London 2012, it's always refreshing to see Taufik in the mood and inspired.
The SUper Series Finals were in December, so 3 months ago. Except they had a match I didn't know about. @Renmazuo77: You're right, he also said he may be still playing lower level tournaments and only some of the Super Series Tournaments, but more Grand Prix/Gold and International events.
