yes, very impressive... finally someone who can pair with LYD to take on Ahsan/Setiawan who are currently the best MD pair

it'll be very interesting to see them play against each other as they're preparing to peak at the year end super series finals

Ko/Lee are in 2nd place... so perhaps Yoo can put on a Mission Impossible style latex face mask of Ko... :p

I'm waiting for such a match when all four are on form, injury free and when all the coaches have had enough time to study their opposition's game. Would be like the old days when JJS/LYD vs CY/FHF - no clear winner until it's over!

if all goes well in Hong Kong open this week, they are due to meet in QFs?
enough time to study this pair yet?
(unless they all fall befre meeting each other? lol) cant underestimate the legendary cai/fu pairing.

if players are injured.. they should rest ;)

Another SS, another win over ahs/set, although they were dominated in the 1st game of the final they proved they can still win when not at their best!

Against the 2Kims, I'm pretty sure Lee/Yoo have had prior experience against them, knowing that they can't win the first game because 2Kims attack too well. But they can depend on their stamina to take games 2 and 3, since it appears the 2Kims are lacking in that dept as the match wears on and they make more mistakes and lose their sting.

    Very smart tactical ploy. :)

It is fun to see pairs play without the constant directon and instructions from their coaches!

Any idea why LYD is paired with KSH, instead of YYS for the SSP finals? Is it cos the latter pairing don't have enough points to qualify?

LYD/KSH higher ranked and accumulated more points from SS than LYD/YYS. So LYD has to partner KSH if they choose to play SS Final.

LYD/YYS (although won Denmark, China and HK Open) still not enough points to earn a spot.
