No-one outside of Yonex knows and no-one inside Yonex is allowed to tell. I'd love to know too but I doubt we ever will. Yonex say the reason for keeping it so secret is because if the information was released, it would make faking easier.

Hi all people there! Could you tell me how to decide the racket is real or not form the cone & seal code? Coz I think Yonex will keep it in confidential.

I'm looking to buy his racket, I want to make sure it isn't a fake. It looks real (MP strip, curving cone, clean paint job, etc) but I just want to take this one last precaution before I buy it.

I have checked in the information of your Yonex Armortec 900 Power shaft Serial:8000733; Cone Code:161084JP (date=16 Oct 2008) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, its shaft serial and cone code are legitimate.

However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.
