My grips (G09 Elite) arrived several days ago. I haven't had the chance to play-test them yet - as I'm only playing once a week at the moment - but my initial impressions are very positive so far. I've only managed to grip one of my rackets (below) as my other two - both HEAD Metallix 400 are at the stringers.

£7.51, around £0.75 per grip, is phenomenal value for ten high quality overgrips, especially when you consider that a pack of 3 Babolat overgrips costs around £5.99. Important: £7.51 is inclusive of overseas delivery which makes them even greater value. Actually, the cost of the grips were around £4.30, with the rest going towards the cost of overseas delivery.

PS. Please don't assume that I am female merely because of my choice of colours. I am indeed a guy - I just happen to like pink and yellow.:p If only Yonex made the BG80 in pink.:crying:

    Must have missed this post:)

I ordered yellow, green, White and light blue. As well as 1xG08 orange.

I have to say all colours look fantastic, the yellow and orange are really cool, and so is the Green. Maybe it is possible to make G09L in the same orange as G08 ?

:p Too bad the G09L has a different shade of pink ... (would've ordered a few as well ... to hand out :D; G09L seems to be that "electric pink" or whatever they call it that's in the Yonex bags)

I used to have neon yellow in the past, dirt stands out even/far more prominently than on white :D.

For your first project: blue 850 & white G09L ;). Save the orange for the ZELM?

As for new colours, once I get through this batch I'll be enquiring for the powder blue. Worth ordering 100pcs for
Not sure why there can be no orange for G09 http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...62-RKEP-Grip?p=1677313&viewfull=1#post1677313 -> http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...62-RKEP-Grip?p=1677321&viewfull=1#post1677321

Yeah, actually my SW35, I am preparing just now to send to the stringer in the morning. Going for VS-850 Blue 28x30, and will probably try the Light blue RKEP G09L (#7 in the list I think) or maybe I will go for White.:)
I might cut the string of my other SW35, and go for VS-850 Black 28-30 and go for the yellow or green G09L.:)

Yes I want to keep the Orange one for now.:)

Might be in luck, Yonex do make BG80 in a bright, almost pink purple, it's available from asia and mybadmintonstore. Although not as pink as the powder pink NBG-98!

Having trouble choosing a grip, so I ordered a sampler pack from Eric, two of every kind/type. Will let you know how it goes (time permitting).

I really like the G09L Yellow.:) the only slight complaint I could have is the end of the grip, the sticky bit could be a lot more stickier as sometimes it will unstick, and that isn't very good.

What's the current best overgrip and replacement grip from RKEP? Also is green and yellow currently the best colours to go with?

A lot of folks seem to like the G09 for replacement. But of 09,10 and 11 I prefer the last. Chacun son goût! :)

I like the SuperMaster, but the white is slippery. So far the red and black are much better, which is a bummer. It essentially feels and grips like a good factory grip, except it's thicker (same thickness as original grip + overgrip) and has slightly more cush.

Does anyone else have any experience with other colours of Supermaster and their prospective grip levels?

You could mix your order and try a bit of both (like i did) , to find out your preference. :D

For me, the G09 is tacky but feels a bit 'hard' and less 'flexible' to wrap .... the G08 feels much softer, is more 'stretchy', but is just a little less tackier than the G09.

Also, both grips are just a tad too short in overall length for me.
I like to wrap my grips all the way up to the cone ..... but in order to do that with both the G08 and G09 (and even the G09L) , i have to sacrifice lesser overlap to make up for the length. :crying:

Ideally, if the G08 and G09 were much longer, and if i could wrap up all the way to the cone with 50% overlap .... it would be my perfect set-up ! :p

Unfortunately, Eric says it's not possible to increase the length for both of them. :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

I ordered 4x ZM62 and 4x ZM67 from RKEP.. Eric from RKEP is sending me two of these grips as gifts so I'll test them out, since I hear they're good :)

RKEP G09 is the best grip I've used so far

I have sweaty hands so I usually find the most tackiest stuff i can find

I can say G09 is at least 10X > than Yonex supergrap

I used to go through supergraps every 4hrs

G09 maybe once a month? sometimes longer

my personal preference is Soft75 for sweaty hands. i find that the less tacky surface for the Soft75 makes it less slippery (when sweaty) as compared to the G09 Elite.
