From the physical of TKS's body.....its possible to shape him into world class player, just need to increase the legs musles, lessen body weight and enhance his arm strength. At present, he still looked a bit 'lembik' (soft) in his musle, he has makes them firmer, so he able to moves faster and hit harder. Boleh........feel good and ...be positive ! LOL

is there any seminar for both lessen body weight and yet increase the legs muscles?
    must be popular

    btw,
i will rate gws net play slightly ahead of mak hee chun in this 6 player, hence,i dont think he had a good all round game
tks is A LOT stronger than he was in his junior
it was an accident that he won both ajc and wjc in 2008,he was a ms player 4 month before ajc 2008
he was known for great net play but poor stamina, thus changed to md
i cant recall tks do any back court smash in his junior day but now u can see he smashing here and there

Ah Mak's old partner is LKW right? Wonder why they didn't keep them together

If there are any to make the breakthrough first, I think it would be CPS/LKW if they are regularly sent, because of their tough mental strength. Followed by GWS/TKS, MHC/TWK probably to make it last but all 3 should be able to trouble top pairs in maximum 2 years.

I don't think so, not that fast. They aren't geniuses like LYD albeit talented.

As far as I can remember(history time:p:p) : CTF/LWW did not perform well in tournaments a few months before 2006 AG. CCM- Chan Chong Ming's father passed away during 2006 WC, CCM rushed back to Msia for the funeral, CCM/KKK withdrew from that WC . After CCM came back, didnt do that well in the tournament bf AG.
TBH replaced CCM for 2006 Japan Open, straight away KKK/TBH got runner up, only 2nd time partner each other in tournament...the rest is in 'Hari ini dalam sejarah'. :D

You can refer to 2006 Asian Games threads for all BC members comments

Yes, this year MS are Liew Daren, Chan Kwong Beng. MS 1 of course is Datuk LCW, MS2= Hafiz.

Age lah. LKW was already overaged for AJC, WJC. The coaches had to find new partner for Mak, TKS was the best choice from their batch I suppose, but they played a bit weird. Like 1 singles player(TKS) + 1 doubles player. TKS lacked stamina, that's why had to switch from MS to MD. He is younger bro of Teo Kok Seng, CCM's WJC partner.

    Now, I agree that GWS/TKS > MHC/TWK
They can learn from a past match as quickly as 1 week too. :)

Even someone talented like LYD has yet to win the WC, only OG XD gold..It would be great if any of our MAS pairs win WC in their playing career and achieved something no Malaysian has ever done

A detailed investigative work ..bravo!! I remembered that KKK-CCM combination were going nowhere that's why Rexy chose TBH who was unknown back then..and the rest is history..
hopefully this AG will be remembered for another breakthrough this time ...go MHC-TWK!!!

Same hope with you but MHC/TWK are not unknowns and there is no element of surprise here.

They are not even in the half of what KKK/TBH having in 2006......they cant even sure to beat INA, Chn, Jap and Tpea 2nd pairs....

and still having problems to defeat Ind and Tha first pairs.....

You can hope, but dont seems going to happen....

Not true if you followed them in the Macau Open. They thrashed Songphon/Sudket 21-9; 21-something in the first round.

But that's not lately, they have been underperforming for the whole of this year! :p
Macau Open is before WC, and they have also been underperforming then...
What I'm trying to say is that MHC/TWK would not have trouble against Thailand's no.1 pair! (They haven't met with India's yet)
Also, I notice that you don't seem to favour MHC/TWK much... :( That's okay for sure but I think you are not giving them the credit they do deserve, and make out that they are a no-hope pair who can't beat anyone...

Hard lah. THey have 3 of the top 4 pairs in their half. They are not of KKK/TBH's calibre in terms of talent & mental strength, comparing to when KKK & TBH were 21 & 19. Very seldom got young pair 1st time play in SS can reach final

But ah, depends what Bugsy mean by breakthru, I notice he/she rated Mak/TWK 2nd, behind CPS/LKW.;)

    Goh & partner are improving.

Esp in tour experience, in Demmark they lost to the Danes, in French they managed to take a game off the same pair.

20/21 long way to go for Malaysians.

Looks like Goh has a sizable following in Wangsa Maju.
