yes, i'm worried about durability, because i'm not a high level player so stringing will only happen when needed
i will do some research on the bg68ti as well

ok but according to the yonex string chart the BG68ti are the best control string. I have tried them on my friends arc10 and they were nice for control and had a good amount of power but not as much ad BG80

Had the AT900 P , it was a good racket , then I got the Ns8000 and NS 9900 , both of them blew the AT900P away in term of control and power .. but then I had a go on the Tantrum 200 and that was like magic (the feelllllll )

BTW, the Apacs nano red is a bad, bad racket and does not play similar to the AT900P

I still love the at900p because of the head-heaviness and as a backup to the NS9900 in XD

Just received and tried my AT 900P, and woah, what a racquet... I'm very critical about racquets, but this one has something special. I played with arc 7, AT 700, and some other racquets, but the AT 900P overpowers them all. It felt right immediatly in my hands

here's an approximate rating of yonex rackets stiffness
    NS9900>AT700>MP99>NS8000>NS9000x>AT900p>ARC10>AT900t>NS9000s>NS7700>NS7000>NS800>ARC9>ARC7>NS4500>AT600>NS6000
    I think thats about it
I would say the AT900 is stiff

You should move that to somewhere near the bottom of the list... it's stiffer than ARC7...but not as stiff as NS7000. From my experiences....

    NS9000X>NS9900>AT900P>AT900T>MP99>NS9000S>ARC10>NS7000>AT700>ARC7.

    AT900P rules!

Just got a new AT900P 3UG4 with Nanogy 95 @ 24lbs. It is a great racket with power, control and touch. AT900P/T is still one of the best rackets ever made by Yonex, despite all the latest rackets coming out IMHO...

    AT900T upgrade

After so much self-assessment and long consideration, I finally upgraded from my flexible AT600 to a 3UG4 AT900T yesterday.:D Changed the string to Zymax 62 at 24x22 lb and put a black Super Grap on top of the original grip to keep the same configuration as the old axe. Everything would have been perfect except that I have to wait till Thursday to go to the court :crying:

Congratulations on your upgrade. You will not regret it. It is a very nice racket.
It will looks even better with a black string and white Karakal PU grip. ;)
Take good care of it as it is not a VERY strong racket in terms of built (if you know what i mean) Bang Bang and it's bye bye. :D

AT900 Power has a better control and great amount of energy output for those who love head heavy racket. But if you want to have a better control of your shots.. i would suggest bg66 sharp or bg66 maxima.

I have Armortec 900T and its a fantastic racket. Would love to try the 900 Power anyone fancy trading or selling theirs? Also have a Apacs Lethal 70 if anyone is interested.

Hey guys, I'm looking for a new racquet. I'm not a particularly strong person and I guess I'm more of a defensively minded player. Is the Armortec 900 Technique the best 4U racquet in its class? What about the Armortec 700? I think that also comes in a 4U as well right?

My previous racquet was also a 4U and I think that's the particular weight class I'm interested in.

Where is the best place to order either the Armortec 700 or 900 Technique in either Canada or the US and if possible online? I want to order from a reliable source just to minimize my chance of getting a counterfeit product.

    Thx!

if you are more defensively minded, it seems strange to be looking at some of the most head heavy racquets from yonex

I agree with amleto here. If you want to stick with Armortec, I would recommend AT600 or Armortec Tour instead. They are both the same racquet with flexible shaft and only come in 4U. My AT600 helped me a lot in arm swing development and the LSC system does help a little bit. Now, I am trying to tame my stiff AT900T and perhaps in a few months my ATSB.

From what I have read, ARC8DX sounds interesting but hey, it is not Armortec ;)

What's the difference between Armortec 900P and Armortec 900T? It seems the same to me
