My first attempt using a t3i with a 18-55 kit lens (I also plan to get a 40 or 50mm lens soon and a 55-250 in the future.) Any suggestions or recommendations with my settings would be really appreciated (More specifically on the blurriness of the shuttle and racket) since I am quite new into DSLR photography!

    Thanks in advance!

The 55-200 will not give you any meaningful action shots of badminton. In fact, for any sport in a gym, it will be almost useless. Have a look at some of the previous threads in this dsub forum for advice on lenses.:)

    85/1.8, 100/2.0 are good ;)

    No absolute need for 'L':)
