I have tried a lot of strings from BG6 to BG66 Ultimax, Fleet etc etc.

Just last week I tried Yonex BG9 at 25.5 on Yonex Voltric ZForce 4U.
It had the best repulsion and effortless hitting so far of all the strings I have tried.
It was just RM 20 bucks with stringing.

In terms of feeling, BG9 has the hard stiff feeling compared to BG66.
    The gauge is 0.66mm.

Anyone interested can try it out. Cheap does not mean inferior.

Very durable even though I smash a lot, so far have not snapped after 3 weeks about 7 hours per week. The strings hardly move around.

    hi rogerv2,

i always thought that BG65 is the cheapest re-string available in KL/JB malaysia.

Honly JB does BG65 for RM24...........

as a reference, what is the price to re-string at your same shop that did the BG9 for you?

btw, is there any price difference between bg9 and bg6, since both are 0.66mm strings?

(I think) i used BG6 on my cabonex8, it felt good.

    thanks for your input.

I stringed in AJ Puchong. I usually use BG6 which moves about a bit and snaps every once is a while but it was out of stock. So I tried BG9 and it was a great choice.

BG9 lacks feedback due to its hard feeling, so some people might hate it. The price for BG6 is RM 22 if I am not mistaken. Others cant remember, sorry.

This is strictly personal preference. I usually use 25 x 25 lbs which feels perfect after 1 week.
25.5lbs feels a lot stiffer with BG9 than BG6 and I have some elbow pain since changing the string. Could be a coincidence.
