I usually stretch before I start playing badminton. It's nothing serious. I just do what was taught to me in PE class during high school. For the past couple of weeks, I'm experiencing discomfort in my lower back after badminton. Surprisingly no other part of my body is sore or experiencing discomfort except for my back. I can't figure out why it's like that. What do you guys suggest to treat the discomfort in my lower back?
besides the usual stretching and back rub, if it's muscle fatigue you can try using a heat pack to relax the muscles?
I don't play that often anymore. I'm not quite 30 yet. Could it be possible that it's muscle fatigue?
Yes, work on those core and back muscles. You could easily do it at home with a gym ball. Check out youtube for some exercise examples. http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&a...&redir_esc=&ei=q-TvUbq7KYrwiwL9oYCYCg
