OMG! I used this racket on friday...really horrbile! used it today for longer period of time, Loved it! Control and net play were awesome, power was decent but damn the AS7 is light! I lvoe using it in doubles and singles as well XD Such awesome control..ahhh! But thanks to Silentheart who was able to get one for me!
It is a pleasure to help out any BCBF member. I wish I can do it for everyone. I wish I can do it longer too.
Dear Matt, You might be right. However, I need to follow some evil company rule up to a point. Also, I do not want to restring that racquet ever week with BG85. It gets expensive... Thanks SH
used mine today, distinct lack of power compared to the 9000x. Going to give it another go wednesday.
For those of you who prefer other Yonex rackets than ARC7.. i do recognise your feedbacks and feel about the racket play. That is also one of the reason that i sold the one that i had even before it was launched. Based on my review http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47963 post number#18, there will be better stuffs coming out next year. . But if you think that ARC7 suits your play.. do feel free to use it and give your feedbacks.
Got a chance swing AS7 on the weekend. Indeed, it's very light and very head light. Did not get a chance to do any drills, but I won't be surprised how easy to control the racket. Agree with master SH, as it's mainly a double "setup" racket. It seems lacking the "boom" if you prefer smash "bang bang" games.
bought mine two weeks ago but still have not used it :crying: i basically bought it for my g/f though, just for a hit around. hopefully next week will be the day it sees the light of day....
Alrite i have an update to make on the AS7! Played again today and this racket is getting better and better for me XD Ive found me way in getting more power, jsut a bit more than my At900T =O and its much easier to generate it as well. I <3 AS7! =]
I've played with my ArcSaber 7 on friday and sunday again. I have to say that it's much more easier to use it now after 5-6hours of usage. I can perform the same level of smash when i'm with my at900t but I just need to put a little bit more effort in it. Some people might sa ti's a girl racket but as someone said in this thread. 90% if not 99% of the players in this forum cannot do better than Gaolin or those professional female players. This racket suits me ( and I'm a guy! ) I prefer it over the at900t which in one way, I cannot use it to it's ful potential and second, it's too light for me. Anyway, Arc Saber 7 is a good racket for players below professional level. Besides, I'm gonna colelct all futur ArcSaber xD It sounds nice, looks nice and does well! ArcSaber <3 Btw, anyone knows if there's gonna be futur arcsabers or not? I just hope they won't go AS7-AS8-AS9....maybe AS00 ( infinite ) xD
1) Please refer it as ARC7 as in Yonex catalog. Not AS7. Younex do not make AS7 shuttle! 2) It is a good racquet in every way. Arc7 just stand out more on defensive and control catagories. 3) Is there any reason not to make other Arc Saber racquets when it is suppose to replace MP line? 4) For all you MP lover out there, it is time to stock up on your beloved MP racquet. It is being discoutinued.
It's priced at the nano 9000 level in the uk, so i would expect it to compare at that level, time will tell.
