Phew....it's an unconvincing victory. Nevertheless, INA is through to QF.

Yup, also SIN team and most likely HKG team tonight when they will take on KOR. It's quite tricky in group 1C, hard to predict the result...

4-1 to INA as Owi/Butet won easily.

So, the only underperforming player is Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka.

Sigh .... despite the best efforts of pjswift and Jen over two days, Singapore only managed to win a match. They should have taken the XD match to the cleaners, but Danny Bawa Chrisnanta made too many errors at the "opportune moment."

Lithuania may be a decent badminton team - but they are totally out of their depth in mixed doubles. Second heavy defeat in a row.

Korean XD pair has yet to forge the understanding - Kim Ha Na is exposed.

I would like to see Lee/Chau beating Ko/Kim. If they can win this tie, who knows....MS and either WS or WD would bring an unlikely victory for HKG.

It's unfortunate that Lithuania's best badminton player K. Navickas was injured in the German League Final recently. Without him, the team is nowhere near as strong.

This KOR vs HK is quite interesting.

MxD - Korea should take it with their greater experience but the HK pair are not bad at all.
MS - HK can take it
    MD - KOR
WS - KOR but Yip has a chance
WD - KOR but again, HK has a chance

So if HK take the MxD, anything can happen...

The HKG pair is on a roll now...leading 16-11 in the second set. Barring an uncharacteristic late lapse in concentration will see them winning the first point today.

If KOR is not careful with this group match, they may well get eliminated early.
