actually, this is not the first one. there is a demo in another club that broke at 12 o'clock, no clash, someone smashed and the birdie hit the top of the frame.

when going go 6U, material must be skimmed somewhere that means there will be compromised to the durability.

the guy who owns this racket had it the first day today. poor guy.

ooo that is so unfortunate :(

the frame looks strong, but perhaps brittle

Nah, it's not the first... i've counted at least 2 or 3 on the FB thread so far that was broken also on the first day of play.

There is probably at least 3-5 g less carbon on the frame by my estimate, so I'm not surprised that it won't withstand clashes as well as say Voltric 80.

As the shocked owner stares in disbelief at the broken racket in his hands, "F#%#!$# Broken?!?!"

So... any post mortem on the racket to analyze the frame, shaft and handle?

after i reviewed the photos, i thought the rackets/strings on the floor is just as interesting as the racket in the foreground. ;)

Was thinking of getting one but after seeing so many broken rackets on this forum, I think I'll have to pass. Might pick up the Arc11 although already having an Arc10 makes this doubtful.

Possibly if broken from mishit with bird on frame, but doubtful if clash with another racket.

claim from yonex if it is strung within the "official" allowed limit.

most broken racket i have seen are strung beyond the "official" limit. or thru clashes with floor or other racket....

    maybe luck plays a part?
