this could only apply to ZYW when she's on court...

when off the court, ZYW is much more ladier and girlish than Yu... :):)

I think she is still one of the best double players. She and Tian Qing played so well last year. One of the best was beating Yu/Du in Chinese Super Series. Not sure why Chinese team won't continue to play them together unless she herself wants to retire.

Yawen has started playing at the Japan league. She paired with Reiko at their first match against Yu Wakita and Rie Eto. They beat Yu/Rie 21-19, 21-9.

It's really great to hear that she's still playing. She is one of my favorite WD players. When she retired, I think she was only second to Yu Yang among the best WD players.

I think Zhao Yunlei will prove you wrong and put Yu Yang second in place. She will soon prove she is capable of winning more titles than her in both WD and XD. Wait and see her in action during OG 2012

Yu Yang didn't play well and achieve much from XD field but yes her WD is nearly invincible. Zhao Yunlei now has her chance.

Well, winning more titles doesn't mean better. I just feel that LYB doesn't give her opportunities not sure if it's because of her height, and kept pairing her with 2nd tier guys and young WD players. When she partnered with Tian Qing, they were doing quite well and won a few titles.

Nah, Yu Yang is not destined to excel in XD. LYB has already experimented her with several guys, He Hanbin, Zheng Bo which did enjoy some success but not by winning Big Titles. So i think the attention should be focused on Zhao Yunlei instead of Yu Yang since YY has her own category to look after while Yunlei is being busy juggling her fitness and time for both.

Back to Zhang Yawen, I would think Ma Jin is her true successor

It's looks not cause ZYL height but since had success in XD, LYB seems want her more concern in XD than WD. That have been shows if all chinese match happened, ZYL/TQ is more often retired than YY/WXL...

Yes, YY is only to WXL since didn't has chemistry with HHB :D
