    In Yonex equivalent:

    Best: Made in Japan
    Better: Made in Taiwan
    Good: Made in China

Except all adidas rackets are made in China I think.

Well actually, you gits what you pay for! :D

And furthermore, I'm assuming Li Ning and Victor don't manufacture in Japan. As do (not) Panda, Customworqs, Babolat etc.... :)

Yeah I think Yonex are the only ones still manufacturing in Japan. They heavily use that to justify their rackets being better or more expensive.

The other ones have things like "Engineered in Japan" or "Engineered in Taiwan".

Just a note to all Malaysian on this site. Adidas in Midvalley Gardens has stock of two types of Adidas' new badminton trainers in black main and yellow main colours. Prices are 240 and 199 can't remember which was which price. Not sure about the other stores for them and they are not sure for the launch date as they haven't even received a catalogue for their supply yet.

i am eagerly waiting for Kwun's detailed review on Adiprecission. I hope one of them can be the replacement for my Bravesword 09, medium shaft if there's just a little bit more weight on the head that would be perfect.

Kwun, how does the adipower pro compare in terms of shaft stiffness and tortional stability to the mx80?

I'm one excited man-child about adidas badminton.

    Lee Chong Wei?

Doesn't he have a contract signed with Yonex? does anyone know when that ends?

If that is true, then it will be HUGE win for Adidas. The impact will be deep and far reaching. I don't think the Dato sponsorship deal will be cheap though. but certainly way more value than sponsoring tons of tournaments.

their motto is "all in". Adidas signing Lee Chong Wei will certainly show that they are all in with how serious they are taking this.

some of the people behind Adidas Badminton are responsible for the combat lines for Adidas (Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Judo, etc.) I believe they went from almost non-existent to being one of the top players in those sports. so they have the experience and the skills to promote their product.
