Im still no closer in finding out how stiff the duoforce is. Can anyone help? What does it compare to?
Well considering it's balance and stiff rating, I'm assuming it probably feels like the MX80 or slightly less stiff.
Less stiff for sure....big difference between stiff and x-stiff. kwun didn't indicate it was x-stiff iirc.
Well he was asking about stiffness so comparing to a considerably stiffer racket wasn't all that helpful My guess would be that it resembles an Arc10 or somewhat softer version of it - the adipower Pro was very similar to the Arc10 according to kwun, and the Duoforce should be a bit softer and head lighter.
Lol. You're probably right. My APP is pretty stiff. The Duoforce has the same stiffness rating and head lighter so in comparison wouldn't it feel stiffer since the weight is not towards the head?
Does it? I thought it was less stiff. In that case, probably a head lighter Arc10, and maybe a tad stiffer in feeling.
Looking for a fast front-court but yet decently powerful back-court racket. The Kason F9 is probably the most powerful racket I have used thus far but it does have it's limitations at the front-court. Considering the Adidas Adipower Tour, Adidas Precision Pro or the Adidas Precision Tour. What do you guys think?
adizero tour is a lot lighter than my N50, which should be reasonably similar to the F9....I'd give the APower and APrecision Tour a try. Both are medium flex and a bit lighter/faster than the N50.
Does anyone know why the FB page for Adidas Badminton doesn't actually send emails about the Demo Days?
The demo days are organized by local teams, which contact you before the event with the details, mostly in the week before. If you applied correctly, you get a confirmation mail before that.
Is the adipower tour somewhat like an equivalent to what the Ti10 was? I've been using my F9 for a while and it's a great attacking racket just not really nice at the net...Ti10 is probably the most well balanced racket I've ever used...any models from adidas fit that description?
I found the APo Tour to be very balanced. Not quite as stiff as my (now broken) Ti-10 3rdgen, but similar in balance and speed.
I don't know much about Ti10 but I tried a pair of Ti10 2nd gen borrowed from a friend. To be honest, I don't think they are head-light balanced as written on the shaft, more like even-balanced or slightly towards head-heavy. I can't get the exact dry BP but I believe it would be closer to Adipower Pro instead of the Adizero... CMIIW. Noticed that there are many reviews of Ti10 mentioned about the differences between the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Gen, also the Limited. The Ti Mesh sizes on their frames are different too, probably this is the parameter for each spec and also contributes to a certain durability issues.
The APo Pro is definitely head heavier than the Ti-10 2nd. The 3rd was stiffer and head lighter than the 2nd gen.
