Han's impeccable cross court shots put an end to Sung's misery to lead 21-15 in G1.

Han is making hay of her cross court net plays to confound Sung 5-3.

The Olympic Champion marches on, Kido/Setiawan def. their junior compatriot Angga/Ryan 15-21 / 21-14 / 21-11. Hopefully they can end their title drought tomorrow :)

If China is lacking in talents and now having to bring back the young "old guards", it shows how difficult it is for other countries with a much smaller population to come up with a satisfactory talent pool.

I wonder whether China's high economic growth rate and consequently a better life for the young has given better employment options to them? Certainly Singapore has been a victim of it's own economic success and now we are bereft of badminton talents.

HAN Li is, imho, better than LXR and WSX. But her footwork has room for improvement. Not very efficient.

This is the match that is of SS standard. CJ versus Simon S (not SS of JPN). However we were reminded that in their 7 previous meetings, CJ had won 6 times! Can SS turn the tables again this time? Now SS has Li Mao to tip him and is show some result by leading 6-5 for the first time, then 7-5 with a body smash.

You know what the commentator said? They are playing in a world class venue! He should travel overseas more often to figure out what is world class.
