90? Head heavier than the 80, as stiff or softer?

 

My guess too. But can't imagine anything stiffer than 80...that'd be unplayable.

 

There'll be more in the Thruster series for sure. The Iron Man one looks like a repainted TK8000.

 

Not true; my favourite racket is stiffer. It's a great racket for touch, and can can send some nice smashes too.
Admittedly it's a bit of a beast... Playing for a long time is tough

 

Which one is it... Forza TI555VS or something?

I've completely got crazy and bought a MX70 and a TK8000 this morning...

Let's see how it performs against my PPro, revelation and MX JJS.

I've also ordered one more JJS and one LYD-N but the parcel seems to be lost (or someone stole it )

I nd advice bout MXJJS n BS12. Recently I just bought MXJJS. It is a beautiful piece. A real head-turner! On court, it played well n was quite pleased. But I also find it to b a tad heavy (4u) n a tad stiff. Hence, BS12 caught my attention.

My background:
I play mostly doubles, an all-rounder with smashes. Previously, I used Vt60 then upgrading myself to Vt70 but found it a tad heavy then change to ArcS11. But ArcS11 doesnt seem to give me enough power on court. Basically I evaluated my rackets as follow:
. Smashing:
Vt70 > MXJJS > ArcS11
. Back to back clear:
MXJJS = Vt70 > ArcS11
. Netplay:
ArcS11 > MXJJS > Vt70

All rackets r strung with BG66Ultmx, tension 23 lbs.

Can any Victor fans help me out:
- Would MXJJS suit me better than the YY rackets?
- OR Would BS12 suit my playing style?
- How long (playing hours) should I clock to know a racket's suitability?

I found the JJS to be a very powerful racquet albeit a little slow for me!
It all depends on you but the BS12 is going to be more flexible and may not help you generate as much power as the JJS.
I gave up on the JJS just under 10 hours. But to be honest it would have probably been a different beast if I had restrung it. It gave me the best backhand clears I have ever had out of all my racquets.

depends on your swing speed, if fast and forceful, then bs12 head will feel like its lagging behind due to its medium stiff flex

 

Nah. Fast swinging is the only way to get power out of the Bs12!
You'll just need to time it correctly, which is weird coming from a stiff racket (had that problem after using my Mx80 for a while) but should go away. The Bs12 is light and aerodynamic enough that you shouldn't get the 'laggy' feeling after adapting.
You seem to prefer softer rackets anyway, if the Vt70 was most powerful for you...

To b honest, am just recovered frm wrist injury (not frm badminton). So when I went back to court, I got myself ArcS11 n played fine. But after three or four games, I just couldnt clear back to back n fumbled my smashes. Finally, I turn to Vt70 n eventually MX-JJS. They worked pretty well for me, especially the Victor racket 8-D

Understanding from j4ckie, it seems to me that I shouldn't switch racket often, especially from fast racket like BS12 to head heavy ones (MX-JJS, Vt70), as that would affect my adaptability to one particular racket n my overall gameplay. On top of which, I also have to consider my wrist injury 8-(

So I would like to know if BS12 or even BS-LYD will serve me better than Vt70 n MX-JJS? And will switching rackets often aggravate my wrist injury?
