Man this is a tough decision! On one hand there isn't really good bamdinton here so I started playing way more tennis, but on the other hand this thing look amazing! I already exclusively hit with only the PPro because it feels that good (I have MX80, Ti10, Precision, and TPro). I'll decide by tonight and send Dink an email if I can convince my boss
You're from a Southern state, right? Just tell your wife you need one more racket to fill the last rung of the gun rack in your pick-up truck.
Well, the wife is from Czech Republic so VERY anti firearms (something with communism and people from other countries running around with guns) so that won't fly . There are so many things I would like to get (Revelation, CX-5, Combo 910, Babolat APD, HD7850, etc..) I just have to prioritize. I'm going to the ClearOne Orlando tourney in Feb so I would have to decide quickly.
Funny you mention this. Don't remember by now what I watched but it was about the South and down there they didn't count Florida as part of it but rather like a foreign country . I think she must be an exception ? Czech is known for guns and liberal policy around here (but 'obviously' it is not a big attraction in general for the opposite sexe anyway ) "The gun law in the Czech Republic is quite liberal. It is mostly caused by the fact that after the fall of communist regime people wanted to regain their rights to keep and bear arms and these needs resulted in passing quite a liberal legislation in 1996, which surpassed the previous restrictive communist enactment. The law became widely accepted and led to quite massive civilian arming. Especially many businessmen felt the actual need to obtain a firearm because the times shortly after the Velvet Revolution are known for the rise in organized crime often related to the economic transformation in the early 1990s." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_politics_in_the_Czech_Republic
I guess it was her dad. Wasn't too thrilled about spending forced time in the Army and she has this thing against communism (their grandparents had a farm and plot of land and was taken away when Russia rolled in). Both her parents are engineers so I guess they are a bit more conservative in the firearm case. Even more ironic is that her sister is married to an ATF agent so you can imagine what stuff he brings home sometimes. (Her sister is very anti-firearms as well so I don't know how that worked out). Florida is funny. I have lived in Miami and Raleigh, NC and in Raleigh they told me that "you haven't tasted Southern BBQ yet". I told them I have eaten BBQ from FL and it was awesome and can' get any more south than Miami without leaving the US. They replied "Florida broke off NY and got suck down there so it's not a Southern state". South FL does BBQ with tomato based BBQ sauce, NC uses (ewww..) vinegar based. One last thing, if you north of Orlando, the town suddenly become VERY country...
Can we confirm that they've now all shipped and are on their way to the various regional distributors etc? Particularly Mark (since mine come via him XD) and Kwun (can always rely on him to take some awesome photos).
Need to arrange a playdate so I can play with my new racket once I get it . Haven't played in almost 3 months.
Sorry, no, not all the pre-orders have shipped and the reason why is this Panda has been working 14-16 hours a day for over a week on an emergency project at work and will finish tonight... ...all the rackets have been sorted and inspected and about 50% of the orders have shipped. If you did not receive a tracking number, your order didn't ship yet... ...but the good news is all the orders will ship by tomorrow night. Again, sorry for the (slight) lack of communication but it's been crazy here at work this past week.
Is that even for the people like me and Sketchy who's rackets will be going through Mark first? Must get fed up of our incessant nagging when things are obviously mad for you at the moment, although I suppose it must feel good seeing how excited people are about getting their hands on what you've produced.
No. I think the tracking number applies only to those who ordered directly from him. For folks who got theirs through the dealers, you contact the dealer / distributor.
Includes everyone. No worries at all about asking. It's your right as a customer and thank you all for your patronage!
Thanks very much for the update, and sorry to be a pain when you're busy with other things. Like RandomLegend says, we're just a little over-excited...
Panda Power Revelation Racket Review Panda Power Revelation Racket Review Previous Rackets I have used/tried: Ti-10 3rd Gen NanoSpeed8000/9000/9900 Armortech 900P/900T MusclePower100 MusclePower99 Panda Power Ultra/Ultra Pro Panda Power Trinity/Trinity Pro Panda Power Precision/Precision Pro Revelation Specs Racket Weight: 84.7g Balance Point: 283BP String: Zymax 62 (1st Gen, Grey color) String Tension: 19 lbs Comparison of Panda Power Revelation to Panda Power Precision Pro: The Revelation is much more forgiving to use compared to the Precision Pro. It is much easier to get power using the Revelation as the sweet spot is bigger. The Revelation feels lighter than the Precision Pro, and swings slightly faster. The shaft on the Precision Pro feels slightly stiffer than the Revelation But the touch and feel when hitting with both rackets are very solid and responds very well. Panda Power Revelation Racket: The racket looks much nicer in real person compared to the pictures. The logo on the racket shaft is very clean and it gives a shiny reflection at certain angles. The cap at the bottom of the handle has a shiny golden glow to it. The Woven weave all around the racket gives the racket gives the racket a very unique design compared to other rackets I have seen. Conclusion for the Panda Power Revelation: All I can say about this racket...is WOW! It’s just absolutely amazing! The frame is very strong; the racket shaft is quite stiff. It generates power efficiently without any problem; the racket swings very smoothly and easy to maneuver; the touch and feel on contact with the shuttlecock is very good; plays exactly like the prototype! I get good feel on drop shots; easy maneuvering when driving; very easy to generate the power to clear full court; efficient and excellent smash power; the touch and feel on shots are accurate for placement. This racket plays very well and looks awesome! This is by far the best racket I have used and will most likely stick with this racket mainly now. It is a very solid, special, one-of-a-kind racket and most importantly… it is shiny! Pengy gives the Precision Pro an 8.5-9 out of 10. I would give the Revelation a 10/10. Definitely a Pengy approved, A+++ racket Just wished I had more Revelations!
Oh also forgot to mention, I normally use ZM70 at 28, 29 lbs The Grey ZM62 1st Gen was strung at 20 lbs on the Revelation, but plays like 26 lbs since it's very thin.
PandaPower Revelation is AMAZING! Well, the first impression of the PandaPower Revelation... just WOW. Specfications: (For all you nerds... ) Mass: 84.5g Balance Point: 285mm String: ZM58 @ 17lbs (plays like current ZM62 @ 24lb) (ZM58 is the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] Generation ZM62) In short: This is the best racket I have ever used. Everything you can ask for in a racket, this racket answers. It is solid, precise, powerful, and responsive. Solid: This racket is super stable; the sweet spot is large and forgiving. Absolutely no bad vibrations/feedback with each shot made. You just get the precise feel and touch of the shuttlecock as it hits the string bed. Precise: This racket places the bird where you want it to go. There is no lack of stability as the racket flexes. Powerful/Responsive: This racket… booms when you want it to boom. The energy transfer is supreme in this racket. Last but not least, how beautiful the racket is. <3_<3 Of course your mileage/kilometers will vary with player skill level. Revelation is a 10/10.
kwun, quick grab the ip address of those 2 glowing reviewers... could be a certain panda in disguise...
