no, seriously, imo, logatech and his chinese compatriots should have asked someone more versed in the English language to analyze what Gade said. in that video, Gade said a few words clearly. "one", "in" and he said "tchime" and "tchournament". no where does he say "well" or "is", as logatech accuses. i'm aghast and ashamed as a person of chinese ethnic origin that what Gade said could've been twisted and misconstrued so aberrantly.
You do realize that this was supposed to be a discussion. Right? So where is the need for this emphasis on wanting to convince the world that what you heard was "something else," and what almost everyone else unanimously heard was wrong. I just heard the clip on the tudou site for the first time, right now. His diction is so clear that I could not interpret his words as "well chinaman is a chinaman" even if I wanted to!! Looks to me like you've been given the "truth" but it appears you do not want to accept it. Why?
IMO, to allow this thread to continue is to promote slander, and encourage divisive and prejudiced behaviour.
well, there is a sum total of only one person on this thread who is hearing it differently from the others. i'll start the call to "close the thread"... C
I totally agree with what you said. But, there's very little you can do when someone choose to be obstinate. The poster have already chosen not to believe in what you said before the thread is even opened. Your message won't get across. Neither will the poster admit that he/she is wrong. What's the point of getting yourself so worked up for although I can understand how you feel now. Edit: I am all in for the third alphabet: O
Oh, don't worry about me, I'm not worked up... just ashamed of being chinese... just for a few seconds... E cmon, help me out here...
the Thing is, you are making me look like a spammer:crying::crying::crying:. By the way, I am not complaining
Come to think of it, there was NOTHING "mystery" or "racial" about the comment. So what prompted the choice of title for this thread? The case gets curiouser and curiouser, Watson. Eh?
