Seems like the slices he hit had devastating effects... now I'm wondering why players don't always hit slices..??

LCW withdrew from Swiss GP. He should withdrew from Axiata Cup too, if only BAM is wise enough and less greedy to allow him to.

In my opinion, maybe it is LCW strategy to peak up at London OG 2012, with this injury there is a ground solid reason for him withdrawing from Swiss GP as well as Axiata Cup and focusing more on his stamina training. BAM can't force him take part in Axiata Cup while he is injured, withdrawing from AE final match indicates that the injury is serious enough.

In LCW's mind, AE 2012 medal for OG2012 Gold Medal... Why not ??

I am looking forward for a news stating that LCW withdrew from Axiata Squad for recovery

IIRC, the English version states 'Dare To Lose'. Or something along those lines.

LCW was very unfortunate to pick a shoulder injury which caused him to retire in the 2nd game of the YONEX All England Open Badminton Championships 2012 MS final match against LD. It appeared painful as he grimaced and had to receive treatment. He picked the injury on Friday 9/3/11 and this was evident in his match against LHI where his smashes lacked the sting and were easily retrieved by LHI. Gillian Clark commented on the injury and doubted that LCW could perform as usual in the final.
It was wise of LCW to retire so as not aggravate the injury and to get fully fit for the 2012 OG. It is hoped that he also skips the Axiata Championship later this month.
Most top sportsmen take the same course as LCW. Tiger Woods withdrew from the Cadillac WGC at the 12th hole of the final round when his left Achilles got injured. He did this because he wanted to be fit for the Masters in April.

This is AE final, a win for LCW would equal WPS 3 straights so there is no way LCW would gave a WO if not for his injury. Rest and give a pass to Swiss Open is smart. To play in Axiata Cup is bodoh. As for LD 5th AE, a win is a win, WO or what-not, in whatever way the win comes. Like I said before, LD is peaking for OLY12 looking at his fitness, etc. Hope LCW comes back as strong as he is for OLY12 otherwise OLY becomes a coronation.

Hey maybe LCW knew about my jinx speculation and it's his turn to play mind games with Lin Dan so he let him get jinxed instead by letting him win :D

I think using a Nanospeed at his age would do wonders to his game.
