Really excited to see VA take on Song Xue. Watched some of Xue's matches on Youtube and he seems really solid in attack. Even though he lost to Kento in the team championships, he shouldn't really have and this game is between the 2 strongest players in the tournament in my opinion.

VA has had some really impressive results at senior level and it'll be interesting to see if the top juniors can hang with him. QF's is where it gets interesting.

YES! A good start today by Edi Subaktiar/Melati Daeva Oktaviani [2] in beating the dangerous pair from KOR in straight-sets. Up next is Liu Yuchen/Chen Qingchen [3/4] in the SF later this afternoon. Putra Eka Rhoma/Ni Ketut Mahadewi Istirani [9/16] also had a chance just now, holding a set pt at 21-20 in the first-set, and also 9-4 leads in both sets.

The match between Takuto Inoue/Yuki Kaneko and Wang Chi Lin/Wu Hsiao Lin is a rematch of the AJC 2012 QF won by the TPE pair. As expected, it's a tight and thrilling match and Wang/Wu force rubber-set by taking the second-set 27-25, despite trailing 17-20 in the second-set. Inoue/Kaneko wasted a total of 6 match pts!

Who will the INA pair prefer to face in the Final? Probably the TPE pair?

Tai Tzu Ying lost...11-21 in the rubber-set. Busanan forces rubber-set. Nozomi is cruising in the rubber-set, while the Japanese BD pair also leads 17-15. I am rooting for TPE to win.

i prefer JPN pair... Edi/Arya will "penasaran" so much if they dont beat the JPN pair...
from their interview after AJC win, it can be seen that they are a bit afraid to this JPN pair after losing tamely in AJC mixed team

Takuto Inoue/Yuki Kaneko are through to the SF after a hard-fought 21-19, 25-27, 21-17 victory over the AJC runner-up Wang Chi Lin/Wu Hsiao Lin. They are expected to reach the Final and that will really present a tough challenge to Edi Subaktiar/Arya Maulana Aldiartama.
