Managed to try my Edge Saber yesterday (Wed).
    Overall rating - Very satisfy.
For me this racquet very light.Had a few missed shot as not used to this racquet.By next week my shot timing will be more accurate.
With tension of 27lbs, smashing is very good.
Is a good buy for me on this Edge Saber which cost only 130.00 (with string + grip except bag )

AMP95 is an excellent racket... solid stiff... powerful(ha....that depends how good you are!) .. VH1800 is every different compare with AMP series. It is more powerful than AMP in my hand but a bit trade off on the feel. I will say it is more forgievness.

    enjoy

Haha , what are the possibilities that i must have to utilise the use of muscle pro 95?? Previously was just using charlton speed 90 and i felt that its quite heavy..

Actually i wanted to get the AVH 1800 , but there arent any in stock.. so i went for the AMP series.. haha..

i just played with a VH 1800 tonight w/ ashaway MPs at 26 lbs. and man is that racket a beast. my drives were very solid, and i could clear with half the effort as usual. however my defence felt a little compensated with this racket. overall though, i'd say this is a great racket for singles or mixed doubles (males)

    Visible Hollow 1700

I got my Visible Hollow 1700 a couple of weeks ago.

    Claimed Specs
    Weight: 3u
    Grip:g5
    Length: 675mm
    Max tension: 30lbs
    Flex: Medium
Features: 40T high modulous carbon fibre, reinforced with kevlar, "muscle power" rim on top, aero section head, hollow through handle and shaft.

    Mods
I cut the handle down nearly 1cm to bring it to standard length. Electrical tape was layered to bring it to g4. Total weight is now 101g For comparison purposes the actual weights of rackets when modded to my preference are: MP99 106g, Powerblade SL 97g, Powerblade Ti 98g, NXG 101g.

    Observations
The weight is 85g with the handle stripped to the wood including MP-XL string. This happens to be the identical weight of the VH1600 4ug5 that I had.

The grip is a good defined shape that even after wrapping with electical tape and 1.85mm Victor ribbed grip to build it up to g4, it was easy to feel the sides. In my experience, this didn't always work well with a Gosen g5 and an MP99 I've had. The cone has a definite flattened side good for when holding the racket short.

With the original length, I felt the racket was a bit slow for fast doubles games. After I cut the handle, it feels perfect. I've done the same with an MP99 with similar results.

The racket came with MP-XL strung at 25 or 26lbs. The feel was ok but a bit mushy for my preference. I strung it with BG66 at 29x32lbs.

The racket is very stiff torsionally even though it is a medium flex shaft.

What does the Hollow effect feel like? It's a bit difficult to describe but is very obvious when you try it. The best way to feel it is to do a clear or a smash. It's has bit of a muffled feel. Power does not seem to be robbed from it. I don't lose accuracy from it either. Does it work? I had the opportunity to do the ultimate test. I slammed the head of a VH1600 onto the edge of a metal dumpster to try to break the racket. It didn't send too much shock to my arm. When I've done this with a ProKennex Keron 1500, MP99, and Powerblade SL, the shock hurts the joints at the elbow and wrist.

The racket is my preferred racket and I am thinking of getting another.

I think I may have gotten a fake APACS!

Forgot to mention that one thing about the endcap is if we "spin rackets for partners" in games, I need to pick up the racket to read the writing.

    is the seller racquet_sports?

i bid on this guy before (but was thankfully outbid later). i was too skeptical myself. just looking at the price, 2 rackets for 50 usd or so is very unlikely to be real, unless you were getting them from the manufacturer directly (on the distributing level).

Interesting, most poeple will grip the handle closer to the cone, but you cut the handle, does the playability between these two really have a lot of differences ? (might try experimenting this :D ) And the picture you posted, is it after the modification ? thanks ...

    Hi,

I asked the question how to identified a fake Apacs racket.
I am about to order rackets from a ebayer but I did not mention any name

Lets not jump into conclusion & may ruin a ebayer business (Racquet_sports business)
There are others selling Apacs rackets on ebay and on other online aution too.

    Thanks

Do fake APACS exist? I mean the profit they could make would be extremely small, I don't think it would be worth their time and resources.

people will only forge buyers on those *branded* goods.
that's why you only see Yonex clone, not the other way around.
no worry of fake Apacs... :)
