SJH has shown good performance in this tourney. But I also see BSH in good form. So in my guess, as BSH is a more experienced player, I would bet for BSH for the match. Let's enjoy it anyway.

Yeah. BSH failed to finish off the opening game that made the above result.
    Anyway, good for SJH!

In the Final, SJH has a very good chance to get her first SS title.

In today's match against KMH, Wang SX showed she is not her top form in this tourney. WSX is a great deceptive player but not good in managing mood. SJH may need to manage her great psycholgical power in the final.

    Good match is expected.

    :)

Yay, glad to know that she's in the final 2moro.

hmm, who should i support 2moro? Wang Shi Xian or Sung Ji Hyun?
    haha...i'm neutral in this then.

2010 Korean Open Womens Singles Final: Will Sung Ji Hyun be too tired?

    .
Unfortunately Sung Ji Hyun had a long 64 minutes Semi-Finals match. Will she be too tired for her BIG final match? This is comparing to Wang Shixian's easy 36 minutes match.

Anyway, hope that SJH can win her first SS title. :):):)

Sung Ji Hyun in Korea Open WS Final..

Personally, Sung Ji Hyun has a chance vs. Wang Shi Xian. Wang Shi Xian was nearly forced to play the rubber game in the Semifina rd.l, but Kim Moon Hi simply collapsed toward the end of the 2nd game.
We'll see, hope the WS Final is gonna be a good one (a consolation for our madbad for not seeing his fave WS player;)).

SJH, at the age of 18, showed a good potential for the future opportunities.

Wang SX did very good job in the game. Congratulations!

If we compare SJH with Lydia Cheah, who do you think is more talented and should make the step up?

Looking at Sung Ji Hyun yesterday, I am still far from impressed with her performance and her staying power. No doubt she is very good especially at frontcourt, but she lacks staying power and had to resort to gamesmanship to break WMC's run at the end of games 2 and 3. Luckily, she was already gifted the match with WMC's errors.

Both Baes (Youn Joo and Seung Hee) are better overall although this may be academic when they play each other.

2010 Malaysian Open SS Quarter-Finals: Sung Ji Hyun-vs-Bae Youn Joo match

    .
Will SJH be able to set up more netplay challenges when playing against BYJ at the Quarter-Finals tonight?

At Round 2 yesterday, SJH's match was more than twice longer than BYJ's. Surely, SJH would be tired to play long and deep rallies tonight.

    Recapping Round 2 results;

    Youn Joo BAE[IMG][KOR] defeated [IMG][THA] Salakjit PONSANA 21-16, 21-11 in 30 mins

    Ji Hyun SUNG[IMG][KOR] defeated [IMG][MAS] Mew Choo WONG 12-21, 21-18, 21-17 in 62 mins
    .
