amirx, can u give the price range base on ur market survey, then we will know if it is cheaper or not
sorry Mr amirx2 I don't know about Victor price in Malaysia ... in Indonesia it's about USD $ 150 for high end Victor such as SW37
this is how big of a Victor fan i am. heading off to a tournament tomorrow, i am bring 4 Victor, 1 Yonex, and 1 Panda Power rackets. 2x SW35 VS850@29.5lbs 1x MX80 VS850@25lbs 1x BS10 VS850@24lbs 1x Arc10 ZMPro@25lbs 1x TPro VS850@24lbs wish me luck. will be playing against some really strong players this year.
By the way kwun, shouldn't you be using just one type of racket? That's what the pros do right? What level is your competition again?
just started experimenting with higher tension for VS850. feels good. so i bought a new SW35 and strung it at the same tension. when the strings on the other one breaks, i will experiment same 29.5lbs tension on those as well.
yeah. but i am no pro. my form do vary and sometimes i find myself do better with one type of racket or another.
Just acquired a SW35. Strung at 24lbs with VS850 according to the original owner. Racket is pretty . Swing feels solid. Compare to my U2, similar but different. Stringbed is uniform as compared to the U2 which is less dense vertically. This means that the sweetspot is more round compared to the more oval (vertiacally) for the U2. Head is smaller, shaft longer. Hopefully it will feel more lively than the U2.
I also using APACS racket and thought to get myself a first Victor racket. Thinking betweem SW 35, 36 or 37... I am offensive player but meanwhile I hope to improve my defense. Anyone can suggest which Victor racket I should go to?
MX80 is way too expensive, I only budget for RM450 or USD150 for my first Victor racket. I afraid MX80 not suit my style and waste my money... I need detail of review for Victor SW35, 36 & 37. BS version is headlight where I don't prefer with.
That's funny, because the MX80 is 150 bucks. Unless you buy one in the EU, then you have to re-mortgage your house. Seriously, I challenge anyone to buy the MX80 and not like it. I put it off for ages because I thought that something stiffer than the BS10 would be unplayable for me, and turns out it's amazing. If you like heavy and solid feeling rackets, then yeah, the SW's are the ones to look at, with the 35 being the stiffest, followed by the 36 and the 37. Plenty of reviews for all of them, do a search.
In Malaysia Victor MX80 is selling at RM799 or USD266... Even with discount of 20%, it still cost around RM640 or USD213. All these price are EXCLUDE string and grip, only racket & 2 compartments bag. My ideal racket is SW36, medium stiff which I predict the stiffness is similar to my APACS Lethal 60/70. Only thing is I would like to get more review on the latest SW37, which is more flexi compared to SW35 and 36.
