in Indonesia the price of VT80 around IDR 1,650,000 = USD $ 184
    while VT70 around IDR 1,450,000 = USD $ 161
only 23 dollars difference between them ;)

USD $210 shipped? Might as well get it at your local dealer ... although you poor UK players will probably have to pay 1:1 EUR:GBP :p. But at least you still have loads of actual stores around because of it ...

I will definitely look at the fine print regarding VT 70 now that you have mentioned it (goodness, I haven't got one. If you think you are not expecting any high success from VT 80...meaning, I should definitely be waiting for the VT90, VT100 and VT-Slash;)? (Hope they can deliver, shouldn't they?:))

It's now available in Hong Kong, just saw it in person tonight, looks much better than the VT70. Anyone wants to get one?

WHOA THAT LITTLE(after CAN conversion and compared to CAN)? I can't wait to get back to Hong Kong this summer and grab a couple of racquets then. Hopefully the VT100 will be out by then. :D

Just do a quick measure about the diameter of the shaft: (Narrowest Part)

    VT80 6.8mm
    Arc-Z 7.0~7.1mm
    AT800OF 7.1~7.2mm
    NS9000X 7.6mm
    MP100 7.5~7.6mm
    TC700 7.3mm
    BLX Vertex 7.2~7.3mm

Looks like yonex managed to make their dream comes true after 8-10 years:D

They have always wanted to come up with a light racket with a repulsive shaft yet not too stiff :)

Now with nanopreme, in theory it seem possible,

let's see if a vt80 in our hand is there any difference at all :D
