After using it for about 5 hours..I have to say...This is a really nice racket for singles. Had one 21pt game at the end of the day and I'm pretty sure I lost like 6 points just sending clears out of the court from my own baseline..Very much an offence oriented play style for this racket. But to be very fair..I'm a doubles specialist..My singles game is crap since I'm neither fit enough for it nor have I played it much at all :3

Took the plunge and ordered from MBS. Gonna pair it with blue Victor 880 strings. It's gonna be a sexy beast with that combo and the white handle.

On another note, anyone ever used toalson strings? I saw MBS sells them too. There's a pack that is green vertical strings with blue horizontal ones. That's gonna look awesome on the k9000. But not sure how good they r.

Nah it is sexy with yellow strings :p Victor's blue is too dark to really match the blue of the 9000 well xD

Heard Victor might adjust the stiffness rating of TK-9ooo up by one notch...guess it's gonna b pretty stiff as MX-80...hope am wrong...

Am currently using TK-6ooo n it suits me well...the shaft is rated mid-flex. If TK-9ooo is as stiff as VT80 or MX-80, then it might not b for me : (

    What r ur current rackets?

It definitely feels stiff along the lines of the VT-80. I thought it felt a little more solid than the 6000 tbh.

So the stiffness ranking of TK series:
    TK-9ooo > TK-8ooo > TK-6ooo
even though the stiffness rating for all three is 3/5, with the exception of TK-9ooo which uses the new 'nano fortify'.

feels like the tech does work. Shaft feels like it resets faster. Hence why it also feels stiffer

So that's how the nano fortify works. I recall in the past was using VT70. Plays similar to TK-6ooo but gotta swing longer n clears n lobs frm baseline to baseline left the head wobbly, felt it in my hand...lol

This doesn't feel wobbly. Quite stable. But it definitely isn't a racket that's really great at the harder deceptive shots. The head weight does tend to pull a lot.

u misunderstood me. wasn't referring to TK-6k or TK-9k at all. even with mid-flex, TK-6k plays much better than VT70. expect TK-9k to be even better...
