Thanks kwun for the measurements. Jus wanna note here that, they doesnt seems to differ much from the ns aero frame.
LCW tried, but gone back to his BG66S not long after. VT-80 is not counted as the highest range either based on the retail price... But yeah, dont think he will get used to a very much lighter head compared to the VT80... NANORAY 700RP & 700FX Retail price: MYR699.90
Dear Master Mark, I do not believe you need the extra stiffening tech to your racquet shaft. Your double parterner prese your performance. I just don't know what you 2 double up. You know with short counter punchers, you get more strokes right? I actually likes the NS700fx's all round play.
OK, I strung 1 of each NR700 over Friday night and tried on Sat and Sun. Here are the spec for both. 4UG4 with Bg65 @22x24.2lb. I think the NR700RP shaft is a little too stiff and short for me. Both racquets are just great on defensive play. Very fast to turn and to return smashes. You should try the back court drop on NR700RP, so tight to the net and the the control is just good. NR700fx is great all arounder. Feels good and a little more power than RP. Clear are accurate and easy. Lack of power for me because I am a weak ASS (yes, we can use ASS now)
i tried the FX tonight. strung with VS850@27lbs good feel racket. typical damped Yonex feel but better than ones before. crisp. head slightly light but very manuverable. drives, defense is excellent. lacking a bit power though. i need heavier rackets for that. will write full report along with RP when i have that tested. maybe tomorrow.
In Hong Kong, the bag is already an option. I had to ask for it, but you'll receive a 'general' bag, not the special designs like it used to be. Can't wait untill they can be delivered in The Netherlands. Sound like good rackets for me, but I would liked a 3U-G4 version. Hope it will be delivered with these specs.
I'd rather it comes with a Yonex racquet protection sack (that comes in many colours...have so far seen black and red sacks but is sold individually). Hope it doesn't disappoint.
Er, it's not quite as protective as it sounds and I don't know if it fits the description since it isn't a snug fit but rather it is loose fitting. Too loose I trust.
It was nicknamed racquet condom because it protect the racquet from BANGING the other racquets in the bag (I really don't know what racquets do when we are not watching them). The reason racquet bought in JP come with them because YY ASSume badminton player usually has a bigger bag to carry their racquets. So they do not need the thermo cover but the cloth bag to protect them from paint chip.
The racquet protective sack I meant (saw) is really a standard one (used for all of Yonex's range, I trust.). With Yonex Badminton on the sack. Don't think there is any NanoRay or NanoSpeed specific sack.
225sgd is retail price? or after discount? Might want to get a ns9900 since the difference is little...
Received my NR700FX 3UG today, my first racket since my nearly 20 year old Carbonex 16 which I had to retire. The racket feels solid and came strung with BG-65, will get to have a proper play with it tomorrow. Purchased mine from a dealer in Sydney, Calibre Australia for AU$229.95.
