I have got SW35, MX60, 80, London and MXJJS, all in 3U, same string and tension at 26lbs. The MXJJS is my favorite, followed by MX60, MX80, SW35 and London. The MXJJS I got is CNF version and it has good offence obviously, yet the defense isn't compromised at all, I would rank it as fast as the MX80, slightly slower than most BS series. The MX60 is very good in control and placements, all rounder whereas MX80 used to be my favorite and driving with it was pure pleasing. The metallic and direct feel is top among all rackets I have ever used but it is less forgivable than the MX60 thus a very close 3rd place. London is just numb and boring, nothing really spectacular to write home about, didn't stand out in any department, I skipped MX70 because of the same reason as I know it would b similar in properties. SW35 is a racket I used to like alot but since moving to MX series, I found it slow n hard to manipulate over long duration, it packs a hard punch in the smashes it produces and plays solid in feel (not forgivable), just slower in comparison to the rest of the rackets I own and takes considerable time to readjust so I didn't bother, the MXJJS feels very similar to the SW35 but almost immediately I began to notice the MXJJS is an speedier version of it, can literally feel less air drag during swing. No point going to the SW35 if you can afford the extra $$. For those who care about the cases for this racket, there are 3 types: namely HK, TW and CH. The Chinese version comes with a black/red stiff case with printed JJS name on, one fierce irregular shaped case. HK version has the golden stitching of Meteor X and JJS's name on a soft cloth/velour case which is the best version I think. TW has a red stiff round case, the worst of all I'd say, kinda looks fake to me. Hope it helps!
Got my mx jjs finaly...only played two games with it will have a review tuesday night! But for now i looooove it feels incredible
What is your JJS spec? 3U or 4U? How about the string and tension? May I know your previous rackets? Cheers!
Got it fromMBS so HK coded. Previous racket was MX 80 and the one before that was AT900P. Its 3ug2 I bought 2 ..one for plastic bg 80@24 and one for feather BG 80 @27
The thread grew too big... Someone might have already asked but what is noticeably different between the MX80 and MX-JJS? I tried my friend's MX70 and it feels weak and hollow. I tried the MX80 but my friend was "concerned" because he just got it restrung. It didn't feel too different from my AT900P... But then again I wasn't allowed to unload on it... I'm trying to look for a head heavy racket that is faster than my N90 yet more head heavy than my Shiden.
Staying away from Yonex rackets... The shaft and cone is too weak... Tried VT80 3U, VTZF 3U and AT700PR 2012... After a really hard smash... They don't feel the same anymore... I can just use my N90 for doubles but net kills is just harder to get the racket down fast...
Sounds like you need a x-stiff racket that's head heavy. You should really try out the Victor MX80. It's stiffer than the Yonex stuff. Not quite as head heavy at VT-ZF and VT-80 though. MX80 would have been my doubles racket as it's fast and accurate with some ooopmh. But the stiffness wasn't to my liking. But it sounds like it may be right up your alley. Convince your friend to let you really try it for 2 games and let loose (ie. unload your monster smashes ).
Hi Friends: I am looking for another spare racket for my N90, after selling off kason F9. Under my consideration is Z force, MX80, BS LYD, and JJS. Which racket can string up to tension 30, stiff and power in smash, and as stiff and tough as N90, and also balance point 300-305 ? Thanks
Spare racket for N90 ? Why don't you buy another N90 ? My suggestion, apart from another N90 are Old AT700, and AT700Premium 2012
The problem is i don't trust yonex rackets anymore, after I play with armotec 700 after string with tension 27, the head go burst after i do a smash. Before N90, i use victor BS 10, string at tension 27 no problem...
