What questions exactly do you need to ask? In my dealings with Eric, I ask him for a price and tell him what spec I would like, he replies, sends me an invoice, I pay, he sends me a photo of the shipment just before it's sent, and 4 days later I get it. That's it. if you want information about rackets, ask them here!
Im ordering 3 things from him. I want those things to be EXACTLY as i wanted them. Anyway , i'll take that in mind the next time i talk with eric
CCode , string color , string type , grip size , frame weight , grip color , bag , etc. The things i ordered: 1 89g 4U frame MXJJS (I asked questions regarding this , i asked him if he really measured it , etc) 2 Bag 3 9 overgrips ( Color . I also asked what free rkep grip im gonna get) I also asked about the warranty (Now i know it does'nt apply) etc.
Victor's weight scale is different from the general one. I'm guessing they just changed their system recently. Eric sent me 2 Victor rackets, 88g and 89g - both 4U.
victor weight scale isn't different. 3U means 3U means 3U. What you just said is akin to saying victor's kg is not the same as anyone else's 1000g
The Victor double layer grip wrap is 2.5-2.8g already. So please fellas take that into account when weighing a brand new racket.
Victor quality control may not be tight. I have 2 x SW35, both are 3U, with same string, same tension and same towel grip. One of them has bp of 285mm and the other 295mm. The only difference is one of them is TW code and the other is SG code. One of them probably way off spec.
I'm under the impression most manufacturers have a BP tolerance of +/- 5mm. A good tolerance is +/- 3mm, which is what the manufacturer of my sample rackets uses. Who knows what Victors or Yonexes tolerances are because they don't publish them. I find this very ironic because these companies are selling themselves as purveyors of high end products and yet unless you have a work-around (such as Eric who is kind enough to send you want you ask for, or a shop that has multiple samples of the model you want and you bring along some measuring equipment) then you don't actually know what you're buying!
I guess if we take the tolerance to be +/- 5mm then both my SW35 are still within specs as one is- 5mm and the other is +5mm hence the 10mm difference. However, for someone who buys a few racquets of the same models at the same time, they will be surprised at how different each of them plays.
