They should just have a walkover.

LCW was taking a nap and was woken up to be informed that CY/FHF received a walkover andhe must get ready in 3 minutes while LD was all ready. Hence, in a groggy state, LCW lost in 2 games. Did you guys saw him telling the umpire half way through the 2nd game?

LD gave LCW a friendly pat on his shoulder before leaving the court. Sign of respect for a great player whose ancestors came from the same county as LD in Fujian province.

Congratulation to Lin Dan. This is one of the better match he played in 2011, on the contrary Chong Wei played awful when his attack unable to gain any fruit, he seemed lost and when he stared at the coaching staff for assistance, didn't get any either.
I think Chong Wei do have problem with players(mostly Chinese players) who can sustain and keep pace with him and just doesn't have the nerve of steel when the pressure is pressing.
As for the Malaysia coaching staff, I am not sure when will BAM realize we need tactician to push Chong Wei over the hum, I would think Morten Frost will be a good one for this post. We have seen Chong Wei failed quite often when the pressure is building and what else is more potentially pressurize then the coming Olympic? "No eye to see" if Chong Wei fail to capture the gold!
Actually is good that Chong Wei loss so bad in 2nd game, at least he knows he is not better than the in form Lin Dan.

WSX herself doesn't seem too excited playing against TB either!

I think LD is keeping his "war chest" closed. LD stopped smashing in the 2nd set and was content to go on defense against LCW. One wonders if LD unleashes his unrelenting smashes as in OG 2008, how will LCW handle it?

That's why the umpire didn't allow them to towel down and want them to finish the match fast.

Worse than I expected. WSX,go learn from Wang Xin. Better still,if that's possible, beg TXH to give you a one-month intensive personal training.

WSX doesn't deserve her World no.1 ranking. Among the three CHN Queens, she is a borderline case, I expect to see her dethrone soon by Princess Li Xuerui.

Before that, it's really dusty in HK. Saw TB tapping her soles with her palm.
