Countless unforced error by the Thai pair in the 1st set :(
Perhaps the reputation of this OG GOLD medallist was too much for them

the unforced errors are piling up for the THAs...KOR ahead 10-5...attack by Yong Dae to Kunchala's body makes it 11-5 for the KOR at the break...THA coach directing his charges. Lee Dong Soo telling the same...

No. Any double team with the name "Lee Yong Dae" appeared means "formidable".

Lee Dong Soo looking as stoic as a veteran coach...The shuttles are just not going the THA pair, either going long or falling short of the net...
Songphon needs to attack LHJ...or else Yong Dae will punish the shuttle..KOR ahead 15-5 and can smell that new prize cheque..;)

It's over, KORs taking no prisoners, pounding the shuttles like there's no tomorrow..KOR ahead 19-5..LHJ made a boo-boo, KOR 19-6...back to back boo-boo by LYD make that 20-7..And it's over, KORs win it in about 25 minutes...And off LYD and LHJ go to rest and prepare for their next matches...Wow, total points by the THA in both games only tallied up to 15 pts..
1 down for the KORs, 2 more matches to go for the trifecta..
