:rolleyes:Yeah, maybe you're right. But, in Indo open 2008, even Bao did many errors and same mistakes, his footwork and techniques like giving dropshot or cross-netting, are really troubled Sony. he could see Sony's uncapability. So, I think that he is a thinking player. Unfortunately, Bao's mental of playing is not really good, because he isn't consistent of his playing. Technique and mentality are different sides. But skill is showed by techniques, isn't it?:p
Sony only beated Bao for one time in Indo open 2008, he didn't beat Bao in 2006 thomas cup.

    So do I. ;)
Maybe he is on his training? Because I thing that his defeat from Sony will motivate him to improve his skilll or mental much. Do he really get injury?

Sony crushed BAO badly last year at Swiss Open....:eek:
Sony was having thigh injury if you want to know the truth...since TC...

BAO was not injured as I did ask him...he said that he made so mistakes and the way Sony kept fast pace in 3rd set made him tired...;)
Bao is not a thinking a player if you want to keep defending him...;)
Bao's skill is same as before but he has improved his defending skill...

He loves Calvin Klein stuff before.,..so we suggested him to use Kevin or Calvin if he wanted to have English name....his dreaming vacation spot is Bali...he loves collecting Starbucks cup with city.s name on it.....I have given him some american ones( LA, Las Vegas) and Indonesian ones

Mostly in China, Chinese wanted to have their Englsih names as well...to sound more sophiticated....most of my Business associates have their first Englsh names like Anthony Lin, Michael He, Grace Shu, Gloria bao,Nancy Ho, etc...;)

That points to an unfortunate lack of confidence (and pride) in one's own culture.

I'm glad Sun Tzu, Mao Tse-Tung & Zhao Jia Hua didn't ask to be named Richard Tzu, William Tung & Nicholas Hua

Yup, agree with you! SDK technical skill is equal with BCL and both of these two players are quite similar too in terms of consistency. Based on BWF head-to-head record, 5:2 for BCL but SDK won the last two meetings, INA SS 2008 (semifinal) and SUI SS 2007 (R/16 -- 21-5 ; 21-19).

It should be Richard Sun, William Mao and Nicholas Zhao indeed.

Seems that you even cant differentiate the surname/ family name of Chinese. If it is like that, dont simply criticise on their culture coz you are not qualify enough to do so.

Agreed... But he looked really down when Sony defeated him
I know he's not in good condition, we can easily tell it by the way he played
Far from his performance @ TUC
Sony was a bit lucky, yeah :p
But to me, not that Sony's skill is far from Bao, he's just a little inconsistent
Remember, he's 2004 Athena Olympics bronze medalist...

That's just an excuse, saying that he's having an injury...
    ...And he wasn't.
He's in perfect condition, but he isn't at his best performance (it's hard to believe that, it was Bao Chunlai, I mean it, that Bao Chunlai who played against Sony @ the Indonesian Open 2008 SS SF. He's not like he used to be.)
