    during the World Championship 2010...

I notice that ... FHF average top speed smashes is around 290KMH... & TBH is around 270KMH...

I would say FHF smash is on average 20KMH faster than TBH!

If he can maintain his consistency with his partner, why not?;).

Yes, even LCW sometimes quite hard to return his smashes.

we can add much more name on the list.
chandra wijaya and rexy mainaky have to be on the list. Sigit although more famous with his deceptive shoot also has a powerful and continous smash also.
The two KOR pair OG 2004 finalist should be in the list too (Ha Tae Kwon and Lee Dong Soo be the smsher i think).
In the 90s MS era i also remember Paul Erik Hoyer-Larsen (96 OG gold medalist) has a great smash.
Another one I remember with a powerful smash is Eddy Hartono (INA MD with Gunawan who grab 92 OG silver medal)

I remember Cheah Soon Kit used to be the hardest smasher in the late 90s.

Of course I didn't have the internet at that time so all these info are from word of mouth :D

good idea but we cannot create the said periods. only 12 options for poll, which we can place the players' name.
we go some most important shots such as smash, dropshot, netplay, deceptive shots. whereas other shots are not so good winning point, such as backhand, serve, drive etc... if not, we will be ending with 10-20 threads. http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...minton-Techniques-and-Training-(Strokes-Shots)
i am ready to create poll here but need some players for vote. example, how about we set the period from 1980-2010, span of 30 years. new open era, carbon rackets.

I vote for having no period at all. 12 players from all era will be much fun, anyway we all know that they come from different era and make judgement on our own way.

The most memorable for me is Ricky/Rexy after won the OG 96 MD they celebrated it with huging together with their coach Christian Hadinata. something simillar with KinDra did in the last Beijing Olympic.

How about the "huge over floor" between Lee Kyung Won and Kim Moon Soo after they beat CHN pair to win the Uber Cup ??? :)
