I have 2-N9900 from Apacs which are clones of the NS9900. I bought them after I broke my NS9900 and could not afford to buy a new one. I found them to be the same as the original NS9900. The Y Z-Slash and the Z-slayer on the other hand I found to b 2 totally different kettle of fish. Your call.

Well is was supposed to b a 4U but I assure U of the similar head light and stiffness. Actually these are my 2 rackets I play with mostly, besides when I'm trying out the other Apacs rackets. I string for a friend who imports Apacs and propose same to fellow players.

    Hi Kiloo,

Do you feel the Apacs 9900 lacks power to clear baseline shots being head light? May I ask what tensions you using on them? Does this racket favor high or lower tension? Thanks

hello all, I would like to know if edge saber 10 is as good as arcsaber 10?
I want to recommend a racket to my friend, and if edge saber 10 almost same with arcsaber 10, I would recommend that one

I wonder if anyone can come up with a list of either YY or Victor's rackets that are similar to Tantrum 200/300? DinkAlot compares it to a heavy-balanced AT 700 but unfortunately there's no such racket.

    Appreciate all the feedbacks ;)

    Mine are strung: 1- 24lbs BG68ti, 2- 24lbs BG65 pre-stretched
The BG65 stringbed is harder and it is more difficult to 'shoot' with it but is excellent when control is required.
The BG68ti clears the baseline well, yes. Of course it also depends on the power the person can input on the swing.
Most APACS rackets are rated to OVER 30lbs contrary to many others. So U can put whatever u feel like quite safely.

We have a policy we adopted in order to satisfy our fellow players. We have demo rackets of many types which we give them to try for them to get a feel of the racket during game or training. They can decide from there which is good for them. A privileged shops rarely indulge.

thanks for the answer kiloo :)
that's the problem, I cannot find someone who has the edge saber, swing it few times in the shop will not help..
nevertheless, the price is pretty tempting, only for 350K rupiah.. (around US $39 and maybe you can negotiate for further bargain)

you can try to get one from apacs UK..

    http://www.apacsuk.co.uk/apacs-rackets/edgesaber/cat_31.html
but the price is pretty high.. (I wonder why.. maybe because of shipping cost to UK and those 17.5% tax..)

    for example:
in Indonesia you can get edge saber for US $39 / 30 Euro
in Europe, you should pay more, £50 / 60 Euro

Thanks for reply. I only have experience with BG66.

I realized one unusual thing. I had 1 Apac 9900 at 24 pounds and another strung at 26 pounds. Guess what... the one with 26 pounds feels lighter on hand easily! Even a beginner who held them could immed tell so.

Can a higher tension really decreases the weight so much or is there some QC issues with the rackets?

basically they're almost the same..it is said that T300 have slightly better material
what is sure is that T300 is marketed for different regions compared to T200
higher tension on string decreases overall weight of the racket? or different kind of weight? o_O
most probably is the QC of the racket that caused the 'massive' weight differences

T200 is sold out almost everywhere...i don't think they have this in Australia... I bought the T300 only..though they have special on bundle of L70 & T300 for only USD164. individual buy will be 96USD for T300 & 101USD for L70.

as mentioned many times by ppl...it all comes down to which one you prefer...well i may never get the chance to try L70...so i think i should make conclusion by sticking to T300 (i never try too but bought online... :p )................
