Your 'concern' that LD will be unseeded or lowly seeded in OLY12 possibly facing CJ will not happen. LD is still playing today because CHN does not have a more reliable player to win a gold medal in OLY12 and the qualifying has not even started yet. I can bet you LD will play in as many SS or whatever that is needed to get a high seeding (possibly WR1 or WR2), come OLY12, LYB and Thing will have LD fully prepared for the last major that LD will play in. That is almost a guarantee, unless LD is injured and cannot play OLY12.
My post was only to reply jasonmarc's post . You are correct when 2 other CHN Mens Singles players are ranked higher than LD and when LD is not in the Top 4 rankings. I am sure that LD would be the highest ranked CHN player and won't be missing from the 2012 OG. My post was only to reply jasonmarc's post;
I believe LD will become the highest ranked CHN MS player when the 2012 OG arrives . I believe LD will become the highest ranked CHN MS player when the 2012 OG arrives, if China is not in a desperate attempt to have 2 other CHN players to be placed in the Top 4 rankings. .
I believe LD will become the highest ranked CHN MS player when the 2012 OG arrives . No, I have no 'concern' for LD that he will be unseeded or lowly seeded in OLY12. My comments in Post #1943 and #19444 explain it all. Sorry that I have replied jasonmarc's Post #1933. It has generated some concern for LD's fans. .
Perhaps it can be SWEET sometimes...just reminds players to be tentative. Wow, I would relish a CJ vs LD in round 1 for once!
I would relish a CJ vs LD in round 1 for once . Hahaha...... You must be kidding. If LD is drawn to face CJ in Round 1, this match may not be played. Why? Probably, one would give a Walkover to the other. .
With due respect, it is on going. if you look at the smashes video, there are some who is as good as him. Some says others are better then him. So, since it's argumentative, we'll open this until someone really wins it all, including MO, IO and SO.
LD's 2nd round opponent in the AE will likely be Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka who almost beat LCW in the INA League on 24/02/11, ie last evening. It just shows the effectiveness of Li Mao's coaching and who knows what surprise he may spring against LD who will also be playing in the German Open next week unless he withdraws half way to conserve energy.
Already given him a lot of respect already. Cheap Cheap la... No more discount allowed. Yang2 and ZJH will complain.
When Li Mao was appointed LCW's coach in 2006, he beat LD for the MO title in 3 games. When Li Mao was appointed LHI's coach in 2008, he also beat LD for the KO title in 3 games. Will Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka repeat history and stage an upset in the AE?
Only a short counsel to Hayom from Li Mao ? . I believe that Li Mao hasn't started coaching Hayom yet. Maybe, LM will only be able to advise Hayom when the INA League finishes (and therefore, it will be a very short counsel). .
Ld's game has changed over the last couple of years... his speed in certain areas were slow and LCW picked on that today. (could be injuries) regardless, Still regarded to be the best of all time!... just hope he tries harder next time and is injury free (etc)
