chris@ccc wants his presence know in all corners of BC universe.

Saw only one Chn player for Qualification round, but a large number of Msia players are in, especially for MD and WD, don't know why?

    Most likely..

..as he's, literally, BC's main source from Korea, all this while...And he'll most likely help out again at this week's Korea Open. Last yr, if not mistaken, he helped out as the MC or Tournament announcer..;)

They are one hour ahead of Malaysian time (i.e. GMT + 9).

Look's like they have done some redraws for the qualifying rounds?

Lita Nurlita/Nitya Krishinda now get a free passage to the main draw. Originally, they were supposed to play Woon Khee Wei/Ng Hui Lin and then Fong Chew Yen/Mooi Hing Yau (again) for a ticket to the main draw. Unfortunately, they will face Lee Kyung Won/Lee Hyo Jung in R32...so...an early exit for them yet again it appears

Adriyanti Firdasari will now replace Maria Kristin's place in the main draw, facing Hirayama Yu in R32. Hmm...I think many players will be going back home to Jakarta as early as Thursday/Friday.

    Potential early exits in R32:
    Adriyanti Firdasari (WS)
    Hendra A. Gunawan/Joko Riyadi (MD)
    Lita Nurlita/Nitya Krishinda (WD)
either Rani Mundiasti/Endang Nursugianti or Jo Novita/Greysia Polii
    Devin Lahardi/Lita Nurlita
Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir (facing Lee Hyo Jung/Lee Yong Dae again)

Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir might do better this time

Winning a title in Malaysia is enough for me :D

I think most of the players still look jaded, except for Kido/Hendra of course. But then again, facing the home favorite Jung Jae Sung/Lee Yong Dae in the SF, I think Kido/Hendra will lose for the first time in 2 mths. Good for them to experience some defeat as well, before the all important All-England campaign coming up in March. They are likely to be the top-seed again in Birmingham.

Kuan BH was so impressive in the 1st set....but now looks like he may take the next plane home out from Korea if he doesnt buck up in the rubber set.

Actually been wondering for some time why KBH is still with national squad. The MD players are better, also they leave (yeah, yeah, too many MD pairs).
KBH? Yup, Jessica, hope he make to main draw.

I still remember Kuan Beng Hong was once to be highly regarded as LCW succesor but after his defeat in the Thomas Cup as third single to Denmark causes the painful exit of Malaysia squad in the semis,he become like this until now.Btw,how old are Kuan???

oh, no! KBH lost to the Korean guy. Another dent to his self-confidence. KBH should be 24, I remember he's 1 year younger than LCW. Yeah, some said after the Thomas Cup lost, he never regain his confidence. <Sigh> Poor KBH.
But he did quite well in Copenhagen, beat Wacha.

TCS, Arif now are the 'next generation' to succeed LCW.

Chrisccc - Eva Lee is from US, the flag looks similar, but Msia one got cresent moon lah.
