Andrei/Christopher take the first-set 21-18. Yes, I also think Andre is pretty good. His partnership with Rahmat Adianto was also not too bad.

The INA pair is faltering in the second-set. I think there will be a rubber-set.

I am not that much impressed by the INA pair's defense. Looks very feeble.

The INA pair leads 11-9 at the interval. But really, they are better in attacking rather than defending. Christopher's defense is especially weak and he was often caught flat-footed.

Terrible performance once again once they exchanged sides and Christopher Rusdianto is really weak in his defense! How many pts was lost because he simply could not return the bird!

The IND pair deserves the victory as they edged it out 21-18 at the decider.

    Verdict: split the INA pair!

No split for next year or demotion....you cant judge from one performance..remember that this pair won Bahrain by beating Thomas/Kumar also....

Well, it's not just from one performance. Andrei/Christopher also lost to Praveen Jordan/Didit Juang Indrianto at the Kejurnas. They also lost to Tan Wee Tat/Tan Yip Juin in the first-round of Malaysia IC and to the WJC 2011 winner Nelson Heg/Teo Ee Yi in the Singapore IC. Those 2 pairs should be younger than them.

Even with few bad results...not easy to find another solid pairs....even for Rendy S, still could not find new partner...IMO..not wise yet to split yet....Ulin/Ricky Karanda has not performed well either...

That's why INA lacks the courage of KOR or CHN coaches, who dare to split even highly ranked pairs like Ko Sung Hyun/Ha Jung Eun or Tao Jiaming/Tian Qiang (ranked at top 5).

That's also how we ended up with pairs like Rijal/Debby and Rendy/Afiat, who still are lingering below the top 20 despite being paired up for 2 years or more.

Also, too many "Fats" in the organization resulting in underachieving players.
