2nd is not as stiff as 3rd 1st > 3rd > 2nd 1st + 2nd has titanium, 3rd does not i think that is the only difference
check this thread http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51780&highlight=ti10+titanium i own the 1st and 3rd gen and the titanium mesh is diff. =T and yes theyre both real =P
Stiffness and solid feel different......other are same about the ti-mesh, i dont really care since i think it just a marketing issue to attract people to buy something different with high technology like Ti-mesh, Nano something, blablabla....How the racket play more important to me
I don't own either . Sorry to be picking bones here but you said "Titanium" and not "Titanium Mesh" in your original post. I am just surprised that a Ti-10 can lack the very stuff (Titanium whatever) that created that line special in the first place. The said thread did not conclude whether the latest Ti-10 have the Ti-mesh. There was an alarm that the mesh-like paintwork appears to be just paint but nobody ever cut open their racket to establish the existence of the mesh.
The shuttle speed record was made by a Ti 10 2nd gen. 332km/h. Can you smash better with 2nd than 3rd? that depends on your technique... but generally speaking, most people will find Ti10 2nd better at smashing because it's got a slightly heavier head.
i believe its the 1st generation ti10 the black silver red theme not the 2nd gen (yellow silver black)
oops ... But back to the topic, It's already getting harder to get Ti10 2nd nowadays, so I think u should get the 2nd gen while u still can, u can always switch back to ti10 3rd after one or two years if u want, but by that time, Ti10 2nd will be all gone.
I bought a 3rd gen Ti-10 in Hong Kong. I played a while then sell it at BC. After that I switch it to 2nd Gen. The reason being is 2nd Gen has powerfull smashing as compare with 3rd gen. My advice is whover playing style is more offensive should go fo 2nd Gen. Then 2nd gen is now discontinue from market now.
dear Gancy, Which shop u buy ti-10 in HK? I will be going to HK early April for business trip~ I will be going to 波鞋街~
Maybe you can get some information from here http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55272
if you want to buy one, I think 2rd would be better I have try my friend's 2rd and will buy a new one in few days. It have stop producing few months ago while I also like the colour. Comparing with 3rd,you would like to use 2rd when you are wigorous. Cause the head of 3rd is a little lighter than 2nd and the shaft is also a little soft than 2nd.Just a little......... while if you are more similar to a strength-based player, i think 2rd is more suitable to you by the way, if you use 2rd with BG80 string, you will find that is really a nice racket
I had a 2nd Gen before. I really liked how it played and the power I got from it. However I sold it and am now looking to get a Ti-10 again. Hearing how the 2nd gen is more powerful has me in a situation where I don't know which one to get. Should I go for what is more powerful or what is newer?
