Perhaps badminton would be better without both of them.:p

I think Ajay Jayaram will beat Liew Daren.

Better? Better in terms of what? Not sure whether the ticket selling will be affected with the absence of the 2 badminton living legend..

Chris/Bankier name still in the draw.
I guess the name will be removed in the next revision, since Bankier already returned back to Scotland.

As for China XD new pairing, Bao Yixin/Qiu Zhihan did very well in French Open. I wonder why Bao Yixin is now paired with Liu Cheng for this tournament?

More competitive and results more unpredictable. Usually, if either one of them compete, the title is theirs.

yeah. I agree with that. If any of the two top ranked players play this tournament, definitely the title will be theirs. But the thing is totally different in the Women section. Top ranked players are suffering the shocking loss in the hands of unseeded players. Lets see how it goes this time. But i believe there will be atleast two or three upsets.

Any "prediction" on the upsets, so that I may not PAW for them. I think Sindhu and Mitani may spring a few surprises again. :)

Ofcourse, i could not go for sindhu as she is not there in the circuit for quite long time. So, we cant judge her condition(knee problem) and her performance. But mitani is wonderful. She may upset the seeded players in the branch where she is sitting as far as draw is concerned. Lets see how sindhu also do. But definitely, most of the top seeds will move out before semifinals.

The "India" contingent seems to have made big improvement in the last few months. I think the "Ex-All England winner Indian" coach (what is his name?) is doing an excellent job. I am not betting against Ajay or any other Indian players unless the opponent is LD or LCW. Daren Liew can blow hot and cold, but I must say DL has been pretty consistently good lately.

Ajay is under a different coach - Tom John - ex-England coach.

He change coaches which I think is OK. Sometimes players and coaches have different wavelengths.

Ajay is not under Gopichand* (ex-all england winner). He is under Tom. He might pull 3 games with even LCW in ordinary times. But i cant judge him against current in form Daren Liew. He seems to be improving his style and game. Lets watch the tough match and enjoy guys.

Good logic: "if someone are too good, please remove them for the betterment of the rest of the worse world"… :D

Badminton would be better either with them or without them... together... I would be interest in watching them both playing at the same time coz we get to see the rivalry and the class. But I wouldnt be interested in watching one playing while the other is retired coz all the matches would be too one sided. IMO they both should retire together :p
