It says "BG80P isn't really that good at tensions below 30lbs, and if you use it at 24lbs like Maklike Tier does, you're 20% dumber than someone who strings at 30lbs."

    Badminton String/BG80 Power/R&D Background/Special Points
Badminton String's needs and direction->mainly for offensive players, The need for more repulsion and power increase. Mostly for male offensive player who likes higher speed produced by higher tension and hard feeling. (no comment on hard feeling)
    Consumers demand
    -Power and faster smash
    -Durability under high tension

OK, got to go back to work.

I just strung it last week in Hock Eng, Bangi. I am not sure whether it is RM32 or RM32.90 because I forgot the remainders. Just 1 ringgit different =p I strung it on my Ti-10 limited at 26lbs. It is harder than Bg80 and slightly more repulsive.

I noticed that mybadmintonstore stock both the JP and SP versions. The JP version is nearly twice as much as the SP version at $14.95 (£9.56) a set. Aside from the packaging and price, I wonder what the difference is between the two?

How does the durability compare to the likes of, say the BG65 or Nanogy 95?

I can't read the kanji on the packet, and your translation came too late:). I'm having to imagine how it would play at a healthy 31...

Gotta be better than 24lbs, that's for sure. While I didn't extensively put it through it's paces, I wouldn't recommend this string for anyone but the high tension lovers. Some out there might like it, but at 24-26lbs that a lot of us out there are comfortable with, there are better strings.

Not at all, VS850 and ZM67 are fine below that. Heck, BG80 is fine below that.

I just moved to 24lbs on bg80. Very interested in hearing what strings you'd consider better for a low tension guy like me. :)
