Rakuten is reliable. I've used it loads of times and never had a problem. If you are unsure you can always chose payment method. There's an option where you can chose to pay when delivered.
@Wingu = available options concerning payment method only applicable to domestic sales. Whilst for International sales order, the traders in Rakuten only accept credit card payments (visa or mastercard). Even paypal is also not acceptable for them.
Thanks for adding that. I forgot to On another note, I got to try out the racket yesterday and I must say that I'm very impressed. Even though it's only a 4U, the speed of my smashes went up some compared to when I played with my VT70 and VT80. The racket feels lighter than expected and works very well at the net as well as in the backcourt. However, I did find there to be some timing issues as the head is smaller. But that's something one have to get used to.
hehehee... the VTZF LTD frame contained the printing of "Lee Chong Wei" another marketing strategy by the evil empire ...
No. The biggest difference though is that the LTD doesn't come in anything else than 4UG5. At least in Japan. The standard edition comes in 3U-4U/G4-G5.
Ltd edition differences If you look at the dedicated thread you will read that some swear the shaft feels stiffer on the ltd. In Europe we have both 3U /G3 and 4U /G 4 available.
Ordered a couple of these, entirely out of curiosity and for fun. Currently 3U VT80 is my go to racket - I doubt Z-Force will be better than it, but I'm looking forward to trying Z-Force just in case. Anyone care to comment more on VT80 verses Z-Force? Perhaps I should start a new thread on this?
Personally I find imget more control with the z force. That's the biggest difference to me because the power is about the same for me. Keeping in mind that my z force is 4ug5 and my voltric 80 is 3ug4 so it's hard to really compare. There's a few threads on this topic out there somewhere though. http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php/118944-Voltric-80-vs-Voltric-Z-Force. There's the most recent one, I googled it and there are a ton of threads on it to browse through
Zforce is faster than VT80 without losing power too much. I am comparing 3U/G5 VT80 and VTZF. 4U VTZF will be faster than 3U VTZF and 3UVT80, but the power is not matched with the other two.
Decided to take the plunge and bought one after a quick 1 day session with my friend's vtzf. Mine is vtzf ltd 4U/G4 with BG66UM @ 26lbs. Boy, like someone said, she's something that comes out from a hardhitter/smasher's wet dream. Clears and smash were nice. Check smashes were nice, dropshots were fun to do thanks to the head heaviness. Really gives you that solid confidence feeling for those intricate shots. But the very stiff shaft really gives out that metallic feeling somehow, a feeling that I know my elbow wouldn't like so much. Time to hit back the gym!
