Just been to pick mine up - thanks for living in the middle of nowhere, Paul - and the first has come in at 310/83.4. Holy moly, this frame better be fast...

Now to towel it to buggery and string it.

The other two are 309/85.1 and 309/84.6. That first one must have fallen right on the blade of the knife!

Well, the Victor G5 is coming out a shade thicker than the Yonex/standard G5, I know that... roughly 1/16". Which I can detect without looking, OCD as I am.

But be careful if you get it from Asia - customs seizures (as in you'll never get it) are not unknown.

Nice pictures you have there Mark. That has to be one of the nicest-looking rackets I have ever seen. Is is just me though or does the colour scheme of the K9000 remind anyone else of the Nanoray 800?

Victor must have got sick of people exploiting the price differential between EU and Asia because a couple of sellers there no longer ship here (Eric, for one) and there have been reports of Victor gear being seized - irrevocably - by customs when they get here.

It's annoying, but I can see their point, in a way: Victor EU pays to get rackets here from Asia, and then Joe Public goes over their heads and buys direct from Asia.

    Mark,
any seizures sound very suspicious - it's not like there's any legal issue that would cause uk customs to seize a racket except for non payment.

If economics/xe '101' (sorry, what country do I live in again? ;)) suggest buying via victor asia, and victor EU provide no value, that's victor's problem.
