aduh, aduh... boss, no offense but I'm LCW's loyal fan regardless of his winning or losing cos I know how hard he worked for his goal... of course la LCW has put his mind plus effort plus commitment etc but he should have kept those and esp. 'I can beat LD' minded all the way through ... not half way, get it?! he was, most of the time get easily tame by LD. LCW fought well at times but the momentum didn't stay long.... btw did you actually watch all their encounters? And to your last Q: NO, I NEVER EVER THINK LCW PLAYS WITH AN ABSENT MIND... it's your assumption... besides, no pro players in any arena shall want to play absent mindedly, mind you... or maybe only Ujang and the gang... Finally, after AE, I'm more confident that he'll be able to beat LD if he really keeps his mind to it ... all the way through...

Let's give credit where it is due guys.
It is very difficult for LCW to beat LD. I am not saying LCW wont beat LD. I am saying if these two play each other 10 times, LD will win 7 because he is a better shuttler. And if they play each other in a major tournament, LD will win because his mentality is way stronger. I think we should look at the way how our shuttlers are trained. That might be the root cause why our shuttlers tend to fumble on the big stage. Personally, I am of the opinion that we tend to pamper our shuttlers. for example, I read today that KBH have been with BAM for 10 years. Imagine 10 years of under performances and he is still around?!! And BAM wants to give that guy another 2 more chances. In China, LYB would have thrown out a dead wood like KBH ages ago. But we in Malaysia are different, we baby and baby them. And we tend to reward our shuttlers way over the top. Plus some of our coaches are questionable. For example, Rashid Sidek?? This guy was the champion of all the village champions and he went bankrupt after throwing all his TC rewards away. The end result is we produced shuttlers that are weak, inferior, flawed and when we put them on the world stage against the likes from China, Korea, Denmark, England, Indonesia our shuttlers tend to come out short.
LCW although being pampered, i dont think he is spoilt like KBH and HH...this I firmly believe don't talk about Rashid, but Misbun, he did a great job and you are right, the mentality of LCW is his greatest enemy...
Being pampered is being pampered. And it is no wonder when you put LCW & LD side by side, you will find all the major titles are won by LD todate. Dont talk about Rashid? Sweeping it under the rug, the problem/issue wont just go away. Thats the problem with our system. I be blunt, we have a loser in the coaching panel and no wonder the shuttlers we produced today are all below average ones. Not only LCW, all our shuttlers are weak upstairs.
Indeed , it was. But heck, Malaysians are here to continuously providing him ways to cope with that. But again, he's on the court and he's the one who play. Not much can we do to help him in court but try our best.
hmm... you know, if he kept it till the end, he shall win the game and the title like what happen in last year TC. and it's a well known fact that LCW biggest prob is up there in his mind... he's a fighter, yes... but a wounded one when it came to fighting LD... trust me, I hate seeing him fails too, but that's won't change the fact that his demon keeps hunting him when he plays LD... we all know that... but regardless, it wont stop me or any of his fans to continue supporting him... he's by far the best we've got here in m'sia...
