it is kinda sad though. better for him to just fess it up and admit that they sucked and their opponent is better and then they have to go home and train twice as hard to improve, and fix his bloody bad attitude in court. he is digging himself deeper and deeper into the hole the more excuses he try make up and more other things he try to blame but himself.

they really need to provide more chairs in the backstage of the Wembly Arena. so many people in the background are just sitting on the concrete floor.

Ok, quick & short one :
Reporters asked Rexy about the sparring thingy. Rexy said, Yeah, in a sense is quality sparring. If 3 vs 2 sparring, KKK/TBH can still beat them(I thought saw bf is 5 vs 2?). LCW no quality sparring yes, but 1 vs 3 is still better, can get something. Last time, there was LWW/CTF, there were players specially employed as sparring partners. Now some might feel, I'm also national player, just do sparring..(blah blah)..no sure what Rexy said.

THe rest is similar to what was reported in Star/NST. 1) When KKK/TBH vs the top pairs like Fu/cai, LYD/JJS, Kido/Hendra, Boe/Mogenson, they can fight. When against 2nd pairs, somehow they struggle. 2) Reason for lost : Speed & power lost to Ko/Yoo
Rexy will discuss with KKK/TBH first before deciding what aspects need to be improved/revamped(Or could be code for 'Cant tell strategy')

Elite squad now have Zakry, Hoon aka Ah How, Fairuz, OSH, Lufti, Vountus, some fat2 one, how to have good sparring.
    :p
THe back up under TKH only join in 2 to 3 times a week if not mistaken. Last time, all train together. Or ask TKH to do the drill Ah Koo & Ah Tan, can faint. I've often said Pang is still best for them, his strategising is good

Why don't that interviewer ask the only right question to NCC "are you going to fire yourself now to improve your team"...of course, what do we expect, it is always the players fault...MAS Boleh.

They need a new coach . The players need a new mentality when going into the match and give them a kick in their backside , I have seen them playing so well in the 1st game , won it , and they just switched off in the second game . Splitting the pair up would not be ideal since it is so close to the Olympic and they needed the points to qualify.

And please dont use KKK as a scapegoat , his skills around the net is phenomenal and it is the reason why they been the world number one pair.

No one ever give credit to the front player !!!

'Was' good infront. Now, there are better players in other countries who can dominate front court. ;) Overall is still 10-20% worse off compared to the 3-4 top pairs. ;)

But form is temporary, class is permanent . And KKK got class , all he need is abit of inspiration (i.e. new coaching management ) . The pair wouldnt have achieved what they had without KKK. Is easy to find someone who can dominate at the back of the court , but it is much harder to find someone who is as intelligent and skillful as KKK at the front court , especially in MD .

Yup. The challenge to find an inspirational coach. Initially Rexy came it, it was there and they won the AE and AG. I still don't believe AG is a big one because it is not open to the world. The down hill mostly for real big events. Some may consider runners up as a good result tho. ;) These are just IMO. ;)

Rexy seemed to be pissed with what kkk replied. i think he is sarcastic and i think he do feel the need to improve their mental strength. they fool around too much when playing with "2nd tier" pairs. From what i see ko/yoo is really good and they will go far if the pair is not split. they need motivation and is it just me or does anyone think that kkk/tbh does not communicate enough on court. they seemed to not get along too well from their body language. maybe they should hire a 2nd/asst coach which can provide inspiration to them. someone from mas md who retired. maybe tanfook/wanwah? i think wan wah is still active in badminton scene.

From my observation is that... IMHO..

    1) Either kkk/tbh doesn't respect the coach to put in extra effort (look at his belly again. lol.)
    or
    2) The coach is too soft to them. ;)
